Aww, this is awesome ^~^! The Ninja Turtles are going back to their roots >~<! I am seriously excited to hear this news ^~^! The fact that they are gonna do it old school without all the computer animation, is just icing on the cake. I remember the first video when I was a kid, man that was like the most memorable moment ever! The second movie not so much, and the third I never saw (and from what I understand , this is a good thing), but I will always remember the first movie. I hope Michael Bay does really good with this! I liked what he did with the Transformers, as it did make sense to what I remembered from the 80's (well as far as personality with the transformers is concerned). I know that there will be a few people who don't like the rehashing of sacred childhood memories, but if this can help breath life back into what was one of the best franchises in the 80's then I am all for it.
I can't tell if you are being ironic. If you are not, pretend you are, so I don't "improve" you, like Bay improved Transformers.

With a butcher's knife.
I beg your pardon?

Transformers by Michael Bay should be destroyed in a big explosion, along with everyone who's had anything to do with those abominations of movies.

I mean, for God's sake, that's like an Iron Man movie where Iron Man would pop out after an hour of US army fighting the terrorists, winning, then... no idea how pointless it would be, but I'm sure they would do a lot of explosions, American flags and more explosions.

"- No, no, that's not an idea, that's just special effects!
- I... don't see the difference.
- I know you don't... get him out of here!!"

South Park, if anyone hasn't noticed yet.

I should just edit this post with the clarifications I added later when another user commented on it.
Copy and Pasted for ease-"If you noticed that in brackets I was referring to how the Transformers were portrayed as far as personalities were concerned. I had not elaborated on anything else. I, however, have yet to watch the second one.

When I said "breath new life" I was disregarding the new computer animated version of TMNT. Which I don't like at all. Likely because it is so far from what I remember of the ninja turtles. The article wrote of how he would use the old school method of portraying the ninja turtles (as in from the first 3 movies). It is the breath of life into this very aspect that I am referring to.

I hope that I have better clarified my points."

It's not that I had the idea that the Transformers movie was a gem in the crown of movie directors everywhere. I liked how the Transformers were portrayed, character wise, as being similar to the old school Transformers. I thought that in placing this in brackets that my point would have been clear. I don't know, maybe I should just delete the post if it becomes too much of a problem. I don't like the idea of getting stabbed, lol.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Why oh why must he ruin all the classic nerdly things...
Hes like a vampire, going from one series to another sucking them of their awsomeness.
Come to think of it, we should have him redo the Twilight movies, he might (and I'm skeptical) make the series better...

What characters? What personalities? I don't remember anything. I don't recall their personalities AT ALL. Human characters had more on-screen time than the Transformers. I vaguely remember they made one of the Transformers a God damn rapper/hip-hop moron.

Again, the movie was a disgrace. Bay covered every single plothole and crappy acting/scenario with explosions.

Another user had mentioned that the Transformers didn't have much of a personality for a similar reason. That they didn't have enough on screen time. I feel the personalities were there, but I agree that the Transformers didn't get enough screen time. That being said, I don't remember a rapper Transformer from the movie. It might be in the second movie, as I haven't seen it yet. Though I don't see why a rapper Transformer would be a bad thing. I know there wasn't a rapper Transformer in the original series, but there shouldn't be anything wrong with adding new characters. Unless they are poorly implemented, and because of it, detracts from the movie in some way.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a new kind of reboot project for Bay's company, seeing as how it probably won't involve horrific murder.

I don't know, I've only ever seen her in the Transformers movies, and there she's little more than a stage prop, spouting awful dialog and looking pretty. Maybe in a decent movie, with a decent director and a decent script she might do better... or maybe not. Who knows?
shes bad in all her movies, she is nothing but a hottie they use to draw pubescent boys to the movies

Neither was I, it's part of what I find attractive in women. I know, I'm weird.

Hopefully, he'll only be an executive producer. It's the equivalent of here's your money now go home.
In the meantime, I need my booze now.

Is it Michael Bays main aim to ruin every ones childhood
i believe it is written in his contracts right under the section where there needs to be explosions at least every two minutes
