Gears of war 2 - The shitty way the rookie got killed.
Brütal legend - The big battles are rather boring.
DMC4 - Nero being pretty much a one trick pony.
VTMB - Some of the side quests felt like they were cut short.

Tie Fighter.. they havnt made a new one yet? Also A-wings. i hated fighting them.
also fallout new vegas, i wish that they had included a bit of the map from fallout 1 and 2, it would have been awesome to see what the NCR has done with the place...
oh and the beeping noise in Halo multiplayer, when your shields go down... i hear that in my sleep if i play to much halo..

There was no point in buying houses in Oblivion.

Mass Effect 2 had ammo and crappy skill tree.

Halo Wars had limited troop types.

Halo: Reach and ODST had shitty non-Spartan II's that were far far far too weak. Even though Reach could have had the rest of the Spartan II ground team as the playable characters rather than arbitrarily bringing in Spartan III's.

EDIT: also, Dragonage 2 and it's ridiculously dumbed down combat system, I want my mage the way it was! :-(

Persona 4 has a unnecessarily long start up. Just let me get to the fights and social links already.

Gears of War

The ing driving level. So poorly done.

Drive a couple of feet, stop, spin your glorified spotlight around in a circle till all the killer birds are dead, repeat.

Seriously, that's how I ended up having to play that level to get past it.

Final Fantasy x - Tidus's voice, nuff said

Vagrant Story - Aside from the fact there is no/will be no sequel (biggest single grudge I will hold against Square, but they keep on trying...), the combat and weapon system made my brain bleed with the sheer bloody-mindedness of it for a good long while.

Final Fantasy XII - One of those games where I'm pretty sure everything was made of stupid but it somehow pulled itself together into a coherent whole that I enjoyed quite a lot.

I... I got nothing.
The series didn't end when it could've. Does that count? I played one on the PS2 and it was garbage... Well, at least I didn't like it for it's incredible loading times and glitches.

Infinite Undiscovery

So much fun to play! A few of the characters had really well written interactions with each other, the game was funny as hell and the combat was pretty good. Problems out the wazoo though:

-I have about two hours of gameplay left in a two disk, 35-ish hour game. Why are you still giving me new teammates?
-Lipsynching was ridiculously bad, even by jrpg standards
-Exposition and back story comes out very slowly, so I don't know what the hell I'm doing or why for the first few hours.
-The well written characters were really good, but the poorly written ones were horrendous. Edward holds a grudge against you from the moment you meet until almost halfway through the second disk just because you look a lot like his personal hero.
-The ending was laughably bad. Seriously...
The last chain you have to cut to stop all the natural disasters can only be cut by going to the moon itself. So you walk up a giant goddamn chain all the way to the moon. While there, you kill the moon god. Then you realize the only way back to earth is to walk down the chain, so the main character has to stay behind, pulling a total Bruce Willis in Armageddon and gets stranded there while the love interest is dragged back home kicking and screaming. When we get back we discover that by killing the moon god, we also killed the people who got the most power from the moon, the aristos (aristocrats) so now every world leader is dead. Cut to two years in the future, the love interest is helping rebuild one of the villages when her pet bear runs off. She chases and suddenly and mysteriously finds the marooned love interest standing in a field, playing his flute. No explanation is given. They hug. She cries. Fade to black.

I didn't want this
You should never have ended
Fallout 3 you lied

They promised me tons of endings... There's only a few..
I loved playing Fallout 3. When it was finished. I felt sooo....
Empty.

Until all the DLC came out.

I liked God of War, but hated that they put nudity in it. It breaks my immersion and makes it feel like porn.

Fallout, for the love of God, game! You can be so ridiculously obtuse and just screw up runs if you're not a mind reader. (Making my first playthrough... still. Ugh.)

Mount and blade
Repetitive... more than any other game i've played
but omg i love it!
I've spent 53 hours since With fire and sword came out and i can't stop it!
But like i said: The game is incredibily repetitive.

Star Ocean 2 - First hour or so takes forever with exposition/cutscenes, and didn't like how AOE spells stopped the action during their animation. Rest of the game is pure win, though.

Ace Combat 5 - Some missions could really have used checkpoints (I'm looking at you, M27!).
