I thought it is common knowledge that the PS3 has better hardware than the XBOX, so I don't quite understand why this is not obvious and such an issue with players.

You'd think that this wouldn't be that big of a deal, it's a port they wanted to make it good and fix existing issues. As for using the ME3 engine it was probably the same amount of work as recreating the ME2 engine and it gets the team better prepared for ME3 on the ps3. And yep ps3 gets some free dlc a year after the game came out kind of balances out the game being 30 dollars at this point. Honestly they've had more time to make it for the ps3 and people don't expect improvements, that's crazy.

Doesn't seem so out of order to me, the PS3 were deprived of a good game for along time so in return they get better graphics and free DLC. If it were added bonuses that the 360 version doesn't get however, I would be mad. But it's not, so I care not.

They neglected to mention the PC version in all of this. You know, the best version?

I'm not usually on the PC's side, but ME2 was best played for me on the PC. Still, for me ME's home is my 360 console so that's where all my DLC goes.

Meh as long the PS3ers don't get any non 360 quests then i'm fine with it. Improved graphics don't mean shit, no bugs is always good and they deserve the DLC as well right?

Well that's the thing, You XBOXers have Mass Effect 1 while we got a comic, We should at the very least give DLC that gives you extra fish or 4 helmets or something.

Well, since The Xbox is getting exclusive Fallout new vegas DLC, Its nice to see some support that kicks dirt in microsofts face for a change.

You mean like when Unreal 3 was coming out and it was advertised on both systems then suddenly it became a PS3 exclusive and all the unreal videos were pulled off the 360 till sonys license ran out?

I still don't get why everyone is throwing a hissy fit over this whole thing. If the PS3 version wasn't visually better after they had time to play around with the system it'd be kind of sad. That's not to say it's the superior system, I'd expect the same thing if it came out on the opposite system. My point is who cares what system what game comes out on? I never understood this.

This just means more people can experience a quality (amazing) game, and that's something to be happy about! Who cares what system it's on, as long as it's not coming out for the Vetrex, that system never could handle blood very well.

The real shame here is they could have put it on the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive and they'd have the space of the CD add on to work with. Imagine all the stuff you could fit on a Compact Disc!

For those diehard fanboys who refuse to admit that another system could ever be good, though, Mass Effect 2 is a flashpoint - one of the most prominent Xbox 360 exclusives, now making its way to the PS3. It's as bad as Final Fantasy or Metal Gear doing the same, honestly.

And the best part of that? ME2 was on the PC as well anyways.

Also, can we stop using that screengrab? It's annoying at this point.

You know...I was one of the first Xbox 360 ME2 owners who said I was happy our PS3 game brethren could experience this epic game, and was proud of Bioware for tossing them a epic bone.
I silenced the nay sayers who said Bioware was selling out and those who spread seeds of hate for the company by explaining how PS3 owners will never play ME1 on the their system. But damn it does Bioware have to for the first time piss me off with their decision.

Its not the fact that the game is on the PS3 that bothers me, its the fact that they; not the fanboys, are basically mocking the 360 players of the game by touting how superior the ps3 version of the game is. Seriously bioware, When a developer starts shouting how greater their game is louder then their fanboys. Somethings wrong.
