Not world of star craft? chances are it will get the same amount of interest as wow did from me... none
It's a legit error. If he's trolling he's doing a poor job at it. And no, for fuck's sake, it isn't Starcraft, it's a new IP.Littlee300 said:You sir have been trolled.Yvl9921 said:That's not legally possible. Bungie doesn't even own the Halo IP, and even if they did there's nothing pointing to them being in bed with each other to this extent.Suicidal Zebra said:Will the new Blizzard MMO by based around HALO IP? More grist for the mill.

World of Starcraft? Blizzard was getting mad at a game called "World of Starcraft", which is a starcraft 2 custom game. Maybe because they want the name free?
You really don't understand much about business do you?Mumonk said:^$$^The_root_of_all_evil said:Bets on Titan being WoW in Space are now on.
I lost most of my hope in blizz when it went to activision, they were fine and rich on their own, but they wanted to be richerer. And thats never good for the common man.
They are creating the next facebook. The new game will focus on social features like guilds and friends lists, but also competitive PvP.
You're not actually disproving it. Confidential IP licensing agreements have existed in the past that split a franchise; whilst we all find it highly unlikely that Activision-Blizzard have acquired rights specifically to an MMO it's in no way 'impossible'.Yvl9921 said:I'm disproving it right now. Acti-Blizzard does not have the rights to Halo nor is it even remotely imaginable that they could acquire said rights, and Bungie is working on their own project anyway since they don't have the Halo IP anymore.
Yup. Likely another grind-tastic Skinner box.Riobux said:Blizzard is making a second money machine, cool.
Microsoft has already teased the next Halo game.Suicidal Zebra said:You're not actually disproving it. And now I have faith again in the future of MMOs.post= said:The new game will focus on social features like guilds and friends lists, but also competitive PvP. they said previously that it was a whole new franchise. So its not going to be halo either lol.DTWolfwood said:Um is the starcraft universe indicative of a social guild based environment?
please let it be a SC MMO please o please o please!!! >.<
That's kind of a disgustingly cynical generalization considering the only thing they're revealed to the public is a name and that it will be an online game (as many others have pointed out, MMO is not the same as MMORPG). "Titan" is frustratingly generic to begin with, considering it doesn't limit the genre or style in any discernible way. It could be a race (divine or mortal), a character's name, a machine, a city, a planet, a ship (space or sail), some sort of Macguffin, or even an in-game brand name of peanut butter.The_root_of_all_evil said:Titan: Well, let me guess - It's based around one of Saturn's Moons and it's a Oregon Trail space adventure; or they're going to totally rip off Titan Quest.
Either way; they're gonna have to break some new ground if they want it to be anything like as popular as WoW, and I'll be amazed if they try that.
Bets on Titan being WoW in Space are now on.
