Maybe if the games combat style wasn't so mindless and fast we wouldn't have people that are mindless in their own right, completely mindless. Just a thought.

lolwut? The foul mouthed 12 year old is everyone who plays Call of Duty. Okay, almost everyone. Every other high schooler I know.
12 year olds don't go to high school.
Read between the lines, I said almost everyone who plays Call of Duty are 12 year olds, but I know some friends in high school that do. (I'm in High School atm.)

Does anyone see the elephant in the living room? 12 year olds aren't supposed to play CoD in the first place.

Ya know IMHO if the worthless ESRB actually did its job, or if parents weren't so stupid and either a( didn't buy M rated games for little kids or b( taught their children that swearing isn't actually cool then maybe our games wouldn't be ruined in ways such as this....

Maybe when game companies own the world they can have a special kind of police that finds swearing 12 year olds and shoves soap in their mouths...
It would be the only upside to that situation.

So a grown man who used to be a Lt. Colonel gets his jollies threatening children in an online game? What a sad old git.

If he actually went to their houses and put soap in their mouths and a boot up their ass he would be my hero forever and ever.
He's my hero for even thinking about doing it. If he actually did it, I'd put him next to Tim Curry, Shigeru Miyamoto and Richard Dean Anderson on my list of people who need to be promoted to god status.

Keirsey talked up Treyarch and the realism of Call of Duty
What the fuck? I'm sorry but call of duty isn't even close to realism in my book. When we invent a shotgun that is better than all our modern equipment that can snipe me half way across the map then I will believe it.

Anyways, He dose realize that these kids he wants to put soap in the mouth of is why his game sells so much right?

That is realistic. Shotguns can have an effective range of up to 75-80yards and are quite lethal at around 40yards, that's 120ft. Someone can extend this range by loading slugs. CoD maps are unrealistically small to make gameplay more interesting. The sacrifices in realism are logical omissions for the sake of fun or are a result of a player's psyche.

No one is afraid to die so you have running and gunning, there are no higher ups playing chess concerned with key terrain or maneuvers so the game is essentially a meaningless brawl, and the maps are all ridiculously small so you have things like the 1887, one of the few close to realistic shotguns, being reduced to a seven pace range. The idea that 8 Spetsnaz would square off with 8 Rangers in a parking lot for no real reason is ludicrous hollywood tactics, but would make for a very boring game without it.

Also, to everyone saying that 12 year olds are the largest consumers of CoD, where are your numbers?

Lol, 12 year olds kicking a military advisors ass, He should just play an RTS.
There will still be prepubescent fucks on an RTS. My first experience playing Warcraft III online was not pretty.
Amen, thank god single-player is awesome on that.

What NEED is his gamertag! I found a new xbox live friend. He might even work as a team on any team games!

I love this guy, I may have to use his threat if someone really pisses me off.

Call of Duty has a military advisor?

My god, he must be absolutely terrible at his job.
He's there to offer his advice, not his fault if the devs don't follow it :)
That's true, the Treyarch devs probably sit around and fantasize about all the money they're going to make, then go ahead and do whatever the fuck they want while this advisor despairs over what the game is turning out to be.

I second that opinion... many times.
