You should be able to turn that off. In your profile under Subscription and Benefits. Although at the minute the space where it was just turns grey instead of removing it for some reason.Fasckira said:

Apparently I had accidentally left a certain banned add-on on when visiting this page (please don't ban me! I thought I'd excluded you guys already! D=). Turning it off let me see motto of the moment again and it DOES look weird. Page looked a lot nicer with it gone. I can assume the same can be said of the ad that would be there for non-PubClub members. The things that are sacrificed for sweet, sweet revenue!
The main feedback I have is for this section. Please make the drop-down menus so that you click on them to see their contents. As they are they get in the way of most of the page when I move my mouse downwards to click on something.The Escapist Staff said:

As far as I can see there are two Critical Miss episodes currently listed in the features area of the nav bar/header. Is it not appearing there for you?AzraelSteel said:
The old site layout didn't allow content to stay up longer then a day before it needed to get pushed off in order to make room for new content. The newer layouts allow more predominate placement of content for a extended amount of time.RanD00M said:

I don't like the way you seem to push the forums more and more out of the spotlight. The awesome forums are what separates the Escapist from all other video game sites and I fear that this will harm the community in the long run.

It just does. It feel cluttered and unneeded. The header makes it look like a bad knock-off off of the old Gamesradar layout. Instead of having the forums in the navigation bar, it has been thrown somewhere in the fucking corner next to the store. The whole arrangement of things being switched up seems pointless. And last but certainly not least, it just doesn't feel inviting.ThyNameIsMud said:
What it was apparently is that the features tab of the navbar wasn't loading at all. It did after I flipped the navbar around 3 or 4 times, but none of the secondary tabs were loading originally. Still, don't understand why features wouldn't load on the "Latest" tab in the first place. I understand that videos are probably more popular, but I don't see why both can't exist on the "Latest" tab and have more focus left in the individual category tabs.
Edit: Apparently, it's not all the tabs, but the very first time I try to load the features I get a blank tab. I have reproduced this several times, using Chrome, if it matters. Also, loading a different tab besides "Latest" first then loading the Features tab does not cause the bug.
