This reminds me of a case of a person who got hit in the head with a whisky bottle so hard it damaged his brain somewhat. The aftermath after the hospital was not a funny one, as it resulted in a person who constantly thought each and everyone hated him, and feared them.

I don't think that person has recovered yet.
