Yes I do in fact. The final boss of an expansion shouldn't die on the first day even if there is an easy mode. If this happens easy mode is imply too easy.Angerwing said:To be fair, they're not just 'some meddlesome adventurers'. Canonically, they're a group of adventurers that have dealt with every major threat to appear in the past few years.lordlee said:He's Arthas. I can't think of a bigger "fuck you" than to fall off your long held throne to some meddlesome adventurers, and not give them any loot.Tenmar said:What? No report on the item drops? What did Arthas just say "screw you" to them with no items?
You realise that they only beat it on the easiest of 4 difficulties, right?Fappy said:Wow beat that fast? GG Blizzard. Your game is hard and everyone who kills your bosses are pro.
So the best raiders in the world - who are dozens of times more dedicated and skilled than Joe Average Gamer - killing the easiest iteration of Arthas on the first day is a sign that it's too easy?Fappy said:Yes I do in fact. I can see this being acceptable within the first few days but not day one... maybe I'm just a bitter old retired raider but I just can't wrap my head around it.Fappy said:So the best raiders in the world - who are dozens of times more dedicated and skilled than Joe Average Gamer - killing the easiest iteration of Arthas on the first day is a sign that it's too easy?Amnestic said:Yes I do in fact. No. Not at all.
If Joe Average had killed him on day one I'd agree, but Blizzard's made it quite clear that they want everyone to be able to see their raid content rather than the top 5% like they had in vanilla. Dedicated, skilled raiders get their challenge in the hardmodes, Joe Average gets to see the encounters. Everyone wins, everyone gets an enjoyable time and Blizzard's subscribers are happy.
Welcome to the land of MMO names. If I had a nickel for every (imo here) stupid and uncreative name I've seen, I'd be a millionare. I'd say people with names like these are often the ones you'd find posting their victories over digital opponents for 'leet loot'.Koeryn said:I just read every comment here, and no one says ANYTHING about the names?!
I mean, c'mon! "FirstAidSpec the Kingslayer"?
CapnSlappy? Gazeboe? CAMCORDER?! These are the people who killed the LichKing? Really?
Oh we're not that bad sweetie. Now did you remember to take your packed lunch to raid school this evening ?Scrythe said:Well, looks like I'm rolling a Worgen after all. Sadly, it seems I'm going to have to get reacquainted with the Alliance. Ugh.
Thats a different guild smartass.Catkid906 said:STOP THE PRAISE!
It appears that THEY CHEATED [http://www.wow.com/2010/02/04/ensidia-temporarily-banned-for-exploits/]
Someone quick look at this post! An editor for the escapist, as the entire team that did it have had a 72 hour ban! Well then... their might be still hope.
wrong guild there buddy. This article is about the guild Blood Legion, the one you linked to is about Ensidia.dommyuk said:Too bad they used an exploit to make the fight easier.

They all got novelty Frostmourne swords, batteries not included.Tenmar said:What? No report on the item drops? What did Arthas just say "screw you" to them with no items?
You are instantly and permanently my favorite person.Archemetis said:You're trying to say that the Lich King wasn't the ultimate evil and in fact Rita was behind the scourge all along?Amnestic said:Somebody never watched Power Rangers as a kid.Archemetis said:He's larger than most of the times you see him outside of the raid too...Armored Prayer said:Dang. Arthas is a lot bigger than the rest of that group in that photo.
Odd.
"Make my Lich King, Grow!"
I'd bother to gear up for raids if that was true xD
I think you might be missing the point here. Blizzard wants you to hate Hellscream. It's a way of getting the players more involved and more connected to the plot of the game. Hell, it wouldn't surprise me if some sort of revolution-style quest was in planning for Horde players. So don't be so quick to switch over yet.Scrythe said:Cataclysm is going be a different experience for me, lore-wise.
Thrall's passing Warchief over to that arrogant moron Garrosh Hellscream, and Hellscream's first action is to reinforce Orgrimmar and declare war on the Alliance. Because, you know, Deathwing isn't a threat, right? On top of that, he's executing Cairne Bloodhoof for being a "traitor to the Horde" and his son is stepping up as chief of Thunder Bluff.
Well, looks like I'm rolling a Worgen after all. Sadly, it seems I'm going to have to get reacquainted with the Alliance. Ugh.
So? Simba can't even talk to me.Woem said:Simba is highly dissapointed nowDr. wonderful said:HAHAHA.
