They haven't started working on this content, if they simply put the future DLC content in the game it would likely delay the release by a year or more.DerelictDouglas said:How about Bethesda just put the content in the game? The game is not even out yet, and Bethesda is already planning on charging us more for their old ideas. If it was DLC in the last game. Does it not make sense for it to already be there in the sequel? Nope. They expect us to pay extra again.
As far as I'm concerned, they already do that.imnotparanoid said:Bethesda you muppets stop making good games and just put a turd in a CD case!

[sub]...but yeah, I've had a significantly worse experience with Bethesda titles than most.[/sub]
Yeah...lots of bugs with no real solutions.imnotparanoid said:Im guesing bugs right?

If I ever do play Skyrim, it will be to marvel at id Software's technical prowess more than the game itself. But I'm not getting it on launch; I'm going to wait a while so that they can patch the PC version past its Xbox 360 hardware profile.

What about horse hats. Hats for your horses is the way of the future!Scizophrenic Llama said:Horse armor, pfft. Everybody knows now that the real business future is in hats. Just ask VALVe.
To be fair, Bethesda usually gives you your money's worth but there's defcinitely a George Lucas effect going on there. Its predictable enough that you know that you can save yourself $50 by waiting about a year.Silva said:This. There's always a Game of the Year version of these games.GonzoGamer said:To me it seems like more reason to wait for goty.Domehammer said:Must... pre-order Skyrim now. DLC that will be worth buying.
I was originally planning on waiting just because I figure it will take them that long to get it working anyway.
May as well await it. I didn't enjoy being shafted for buying Fallout 3 soon after release then discovering I would either have to pay for or go without DLC that came for free with the limited (read: actually extremely easy to obtain) edition Game of the Year version.
Then again, I'm not sure companies that pull the fast one on consumers to pull extra funds out of their wallets deserve the quick profits that allow Game of the Year Editions to come out in the first place. So I'll just wait this one out, or not buy it at all. I don't care how good it is, sometimes a sacrifice should be made for the good of the industry or it'll just continue to spiral into commercialism and downright Hollywood-like behaviour.
