Eh, water under the bridge. Your a teen, it's expected that you masturbate. And your brother would just be a hypocrite for making a big deal out of it, since he either has or will do it too (depending on how old this bro is).

If you parents make a big deal out of it, just shrug it off. There are plenty worse things for "Christians" to treat like a big deal. Maybe you should listen to death metal or rap music really loud, or dye your hair. That'll give them something to complain about.

Unless your bro is like under 12 and has never *cough* "gotten excited" before then he should be understanding. I dont care if your Christen Catholic or whatever, If your human you have fapped at least once in your life.

I actually had the same thing happen to me. My whole family are strong Christens. Me im agnostic. My dad walks in on me as im doing it, I freak out, he gets pissed as hell, then I said "You should be happy to know your son is not gay." I now have no lock on my door.

In retrospect: If your bro goes around telling people he watch you fapp then I think he is the one going to get the dirty looks. Just saying.

What can you do? Ignore them. If they try to take the religion angle then either demand they find the exact passage saying it is wrong then follow it up by spending the next few months pointing out every single thing they do that is against the bible or just tell them you do not care what the bible has to say.

Or! Option #3. Otherwise known as the magnificent bastard option. Start fapping in your room, wait till they come in for something, stare them right in the eye and finish like a boss all over a bible. Bonus points for ripping a few pages out of it to clean yourself off with. (Only take this option if they really annoy you using their religious beliefs.
This is the only option.

OT: Be more discreet about it in the future. Use the bathroom.

OK, that's great. Now I'm an ass. Once again, your incredible knowledge of my personality shines through. I'm not sure why you have such a huge ax to grind with me, but I'm done here. I defended myself, and I admitted my mistake. I don't know what else you want from me, and I don't really care.

So, my bro caught me fapping. Yeah. He walked right in my room and caught me.

He was discreet and cool about it, so I didn't think it was a big deal.

Then I remembered my parents. My parents are pretty big Christians. If they found out because of my bro telling them, I'd be in deep crap.

What should I do if that happens?

I think it's highly unlikely that your brother will tell your parents, probably because:

* He's probably doing it too, and he doesn't want you busting him and then telling your parents in revenge
* It's a pretty embarrasing topic to bring up, it would be easier for him not to mention it

However, if it does come to the crunch, the Bible is pretty ambiguous about whether it disapproves of masturbation or not. You'd be hard-pressed to find direct references to masturbation being bad in the Bible, most views about it being "a sin" are more extrapolation than anything else. If you need some ammunition for a potential showdown about this issue, try this link: http://www.religioustolerance.org/masturba3.htm

Also, use the Advice Forum, for chrissake. You'll get far more mature responses there and it's set aside just for questions like this one.
But its a form of Lust and not to lust is mentioned in there thats why its looked down upon. Personally I could care less but im just saying.

Is it really a form of lust? Maybe, but then maybe masturbation prevents lust by knocking out the sex drive for a while allowing a highly-sexed person to focus on other things thus preventing them from inappropriately lusting after co-workers, fellow students, peers or whoever. Masturbation could be a path toward sin, or a path that leads from sin, depending on your outlook. Like a lot of things extrapolated from a book written thousands of years ago and rewritten/translated many times over, there's lots of room for interpretation.

I'de basically use this:

Ron White: The year I turned 13, I experimented with something, and my grandma caught me in the bathroom just a'doin it. She said, "It says in the Bible, young man, that it is better for your seed to fall in the belly of a whore than on the ground." I said, "Tough to argue with that logic, Grandma. You got 50 bucks?"
oh that made me lol, i wish i could of seen that go down. and see the look on your grandma's face. cause she just indirectly told you to get a hooker, for it be less sinful.

Haha, that was brilliant :D

OT:
Your brother probably won't say anything, because talking about it is almost as awkward :p
Oh, and maybe go out and buy a lock.

Ok this might sound like a hard thing to deal with if they are extremests. Yet if they do not care its no real deal. But for the sake of arguement I'm going to assume the former.

If they are against it, because in the Bible it is bad. Simply reply by saying that "the bible also says in Deuteronomy (or however it is spelt) that it is fine for the father to sell his daughter into slavery and a man to have many wives.

Also then you could do as others have said and request that they look up the Bible and tell you where it says that fapping is bad.

This may come back as an attack on the faith, but I'm using this in a defence for you not an attack on them (or you).

If they're real Christians their only concern should be whether you were tugging to a porno otherwise your folks should have expected this from day 1 when your mum found out she was having a boy. Your Dad most of all should be more understanding.

My Church has a mens group & although we dont explicitely give details we do hint around it when the subject comes up & have a good laugh over it cos we're all men & we've all been their.

If your parents are the overly strict type remind them that Jesus never condemned & as for your little bro, smack the punk. Sooner or later he'll be doing the same thing or you will get some other dirt on him in which you can demonstrate the ol' 'you reap what you sow Biatch!' & dob on him back.

I didn't think Christians were against masturbation? I know it's kind of looked down upon in Islamic circles, but...

Just tell them you're a big boy now and you know hair isn't going to grow on your palms and you're not going to go blind.
I know it's definitely looked down upon in Catholocism. I'm not sure about other sects of Christianity but they probably look down on it as well, I haven't exactly followed any religion since I was around eight years old.

Prepare your mind for what I am about to tell you.

Every male masturbates. or "Faps" as you called it.
Your brother does.
Your father does/did.

So yeah its got to be embarrassing for your bro to catch you. But know that he does it too, and probably wont tell. How the hell would he tell them without sounding like a creepy/awkward guy?

I doubt he'd say anything, he probably does it too. Everyone does. If your parents say anything, tell them even God masturbates. After all, the Dead Sea had to come from somewhere - why else do you think it's so salty?

I've never seen so many "fap"s and "like a boss"s in one place before.

At least you were not caught by a parent. That makes for an extremely awkward conversation. But like all things, it too will pass. Then you can get back to furiously masturbating.
