Do you want a gold sticker with that? I mean, your seriously acting like your one of the only people (i.e non Nintendo fans) to recognize and understand Nintendo's 'nefarious smokescreen patterns'. Please dude. We are all very aware of how Nintendo goes about making games.Silentpony said:Call me a cynic, but to that's simply seeing the Nintendo pattern.
We all knew when the 3DS came out there was going to be an Animal Crossing, Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon game. With Pokemon itself we know they release at least 6 titles of the core franchise. The new generation one with it's two versions, the third one that expounds upon the first games, and two remake versions of older titles on obsolete systems. Nobody is every surprised at the announcement of a new Pokemon game. However we are excited by it because we love playing Pokemon. You see the difference here?
Nobody in the Nintendo fandom is surprised at a new console Zelda game, or a Mario Kart game, or a Smash Bros. game. Nobody. However we sure as hell are excited for it because-again- we love the franchise. For a good chunk of us they always bring fun and enjoyment to the players in question. Especially Zelda since we never know what they are going to do with the game. Last game involved a floating island with giant birds.
It's almost like you can't simply accept the fact that people will play and enjoy games regardless of how "same" it is because we genuinely enjoy those games. But no, it's either we are too stupid to realize it, or we are somehow being "tricked" by imaginary Nintendo magic to not see through any of this.
