"get the rebels!" from starwars battlefront II, its still a bit of an inside joke for my group.

in castlevania harmony of despair, Julius belmonte's "its up to you!" is quickly becoming a inside joke for my group as well

Oghren in Dragon Age, although these two are from Awakening

"NO ONE touches Oghren's Junk and lives!"

"That's a lot of nipples"

say what you will about Dragon Age: Origins Awakening, they made a lot of use out of our favorite drunkard dwarf.

also from DA

"News of the hour! Lord Harrowmont currently being held for treason, awaiting execution. Epic fail!"

"This is the part where you fall down and bleed to death!" from Oblivion. And "Stop talking!" when NPC's are chatting about what's happening around the world (they say that to eachother).

It's carry over jokes like that that I love.
Ah yes. This reminded me of the internal affairs officer on Noveria from Mass Effect. She tells you she owes you a beer for helping her and she does just that in ME2.
A hommage to the Half Life beer joke perhaps?

Claudia: "Are you here to look at the book?"

Your standard quote topic...with a twist! What are some quotes from games that SHOULDN'T be memorable, but for some reason, you can't get them out of your head?

Stuff like this is intended to be memorable:

I'm talking about the minor lines that you recall.
Wow, Gat looks (and sounds) so young in that video.

Can't think of any quotes, but just about any conversation Tsubaki and Etna had in Trinity Universe.

"WINSTONS BEEN HIT!"
Is that really in there, and is it meant to be a reference to Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels?

Yep, it's in there. Some Rebels are battling with the combine, and there's always this one Rebel who gets hit and another woman rebel yells out "WINSTONS BEEN HIT!"

It definitely seems like a reference because it's so scripted, but I've never seen Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrles so I don't know.

It's like riding a bike or wearing high heels - Splinter Cell, Sam and Lambert

And all of the conversation Sam haves when you "question" enemies.

"We may need you to play Twing Twang" is the only one that comes to mind right away.
Even in other languages it makes no sense. I had a look at the demo and decided to set the language to Norwegian for shits'n giggles. "Twing twang" became "pling plong", equally meaningless and stupid.
