So it's okay that they did absolutely zero research prior, that they just slapped that crap up there and then hastily glossed over once they were revealed to be moronic? Fox News regularly distorts the truth, and won a court case saying they were allowed to blatantly lie on the air. They've never done a report on the good side of video games, or how the video game business is booming and creating jobs, or anything positive towards games.Ace IV said:At the 0:58 mark in the video, the video games blogger corrected the facts. After that, no one mentioned the words "Call of Duty". I agree that FNC should have done a little more to research what they were talking about, but at least they didn't keep banging on a point that was already called out as BS
And if you really want to pretend that they don't slant against video games at all, I dare you to read up on the Bulletstorm fiasco.
Also, it's not them being fair and balanced if they bring on some psycho to slam video games. They could have picked a genuine voice with genuine concerns, but they chose the crazy person because they want ratings. They pander to the far right with literally every tiny thing that they do. It's nearly disgusting how desperately you've been defending them as being fair and balanced. Their only purpose is to grab high ratings, and they get their ratings by pandering to uneducated right wing loons.
My source on this? My parents watch nothing but Fox News. My mom watches it from 9 AM to 10 PM EVERY SINGLE DAY. I hear their bullshit filtering through to my room every day that I'm not working or on campus. In the past five years I have only ever heard four things that weren't either completely wrong or completely offensive. That is not an exaggeration. That channel is so offensively -wrong- at every turn that it is appalling for any logical human being to defend them. There's no excuse for it.
