No response to the rest of my post? You're only proving my point.Ace IV said:Sure thing, mate.ZeroMachine said:Oh, and clarify what that last statement meant, because if you could never call anyone a troll, then the term wouldn't exist.
A troll is someone who acts up and says stupid shit for attention. Sort of like a Devil's Advocate, except a Devil's Advocate makes nonsense arguments for the betterment of human knowledge, while a troll does it because he loves getting people riled up. If you call someone a troll, and continue arguing with them, then you're basically saying you're troll bait. If you really believe someone to be a troll, then don't respond to them.
Are we all cleared up? I look forward to your response
That was a joke
So it's okay that they did absolutely zero research prior, that they just slapped that crap up there and then hastily glossed over once they were revealed to be moronic? Fox News regularly distorts the truth, and won a court case saying they were allowed to blatantly lie on the air. They've never done a report on the good side of video games, or how the video game business is booming and creating jobs, or anything positive towards games.Ace IV said:At the 0:58 mark in the video, the video games blogger corrected the facts. After that, no one mentioned the words "Call of Duty". I agree that FNC should have done a little more to research what they were talking about, but at least they didn't keep banging on a point that was already called out as BS
Honest? How is segueing into the story with clips from CoD and using it to frame the story, and not once ever showing clips or even really mentioning anything at all that could be suitable for NEA funds? The only game they show in any clip is one of the most violent and profitable on the market. It's completely counter to the intent of allowing NEA funding for games projects.Ace IV said:They set up the debate so people could hear a different point of view. The dude from FNC never took a side, as good reporters don't. Stop blaming Fox for reporting the news in an honest wayZeroMachine said:They set up the debate so the guy opposing video games would ignore every point the other guy made. Fox is just as much at fault for this as that asshole radio guy.Ace IV said:Fox didn't do anything wrong, they had a debate. Your ire should be directed at the dude who was arguing against video games as art, not FNC itself.
Cool! I love wearing Casual clothing. Although i'm not a fan of jeans they are just too tight and i'm not fashionably aware so I don't feel cool wearing them either.Ace IV said:You should definitely come over sometime. Especially on Casual Fridays.Swifteye said:Fox news reporting in an honest way? Can I live in your world?
I don't think anyone was doubting that.Oscar90 said:I was being semi-serious.cp.06 said:I laughed. Well done sir.Oscar90 said:Why won't people understand how easy it is to solve problems with assasination?
Hell, let's just get the Assassin's Guild on it. Fox News is OBVIOUSLY a front for Abstergo and the Templars.Oscar90 said:Okay than.ZeroMachine said:I don't think anyone was doubting that.Oscar90 said:I was being semi-serious.cp.06 said:I laughed. Seriously though, there has got to be at least one rich guy with connections that hates fox news.
If i was rich a rich guy with connections lot's of people who cause problems would be dying.
ZeroMachine said:Did you ever listen to how they introduced the segment? They introduced it by twisting it to sound bad already: "Should the videogame Call of Duty get federal funding?"Ace IV said:They set up the debate so people could hear a different point of view. There's an obvious bias there, and Fox News is KNOWN for shit like this. I don't get why you're defending them.
