Her and I dated for half of freshman year, and I can honestly say that she was my first love.
We didn't go all the way while we were dating, though. We broke up, spent a year apart, and then, the summer between my sophomore and junior year, we started hanging out for a week, a ton like the movie "Grease," with the fun in the sun and the blah blah blah. It was just after my 16th birthday when this all started.
I'll always remember the first day of that week. There was a full lunar eclipse, which I snuck out of my house to watch, deciding to stay up all night for it. During the eclipse, on a whim, I called her, even though I hadn't talked to her in forever. Me and her stayed up talking for hours that morning, and then I said we should hang out, which she tiredly agreed to. Biking the several miles to her house on no sleep was fun, to say the least, but seeing her gave me a renewed energy, because although we'll never date again, there will still always be a deep connection between us.
So for the next few days, we made out, rolled around in grass fields, classic movie shit, and easily as romantic/sensual for her as it was for me. The last day that we hung out, it was about 10am, way before my normal wake-up time, and ended up laying down in an open field in the wooded trails near my house. Wide open, not a bug or animal or person in sight, we got to talking about sex, and it just kinda...happened. Right there in the field. Protection was worn, and I certainly didn't last long, but it was a moment I'll never forget.
We went back to my house, played video games and ate pizza until night, and then went at it again as soon as my dad left the house (because my mom wasn't expected back for another hour). Mom ended up coming home early and almost catching us right in the act, but holy shit do you throw on clothes fast when you're in that kind of situation.
TL;DR, romantic bond between my ex and I, feels good man. I wonder how she's doing. Hm.
*Edit* Oh, and I'm 20 now, 21 this summer. Holy dicks, it's been almost 5 years? Time freaking flies, man.
