I hope I'm not the only one who's got no idea what the Alliance for Global Justice is.

OT: We wouldn't have to put up with this stuff if parents just did their job and looked after their kids.

What gets me is, it's ok for a game to have you kill Castro, but setting up a facebook page asking to kill George Bush gets banned.

A game for adults...

Which a child isn't legally allowed to buy...

Corrupting them...

Some-ones LETTING them play it and i think we all know who that is. If it has ANY correlation at all, in the end it's the parents fault for buying it for them.

I wish a law was passed were you have to have prior subject knowledge towards the medium you are criticising. Just a thought here, but it is going to be so funny when duke nukem comes out, because that could well be ACTUAL pornography :p

The only part of the game I didn't like was when you had to shoot SAS Commandos for no reason other than the fact they needed something to hinder your escape. Anyway, I've seen dozens of cases like this and we all know what happens in the end. Can't wait for the day when people take games seriously as a form of entertainment just like movies and such.

Remember those things..
Hmm what were they called...
They apparently raise things called children. I guess they are all on holiday or something.

The rating system is broken, specially in australia.
18+ Rating please..PLEASE!!!

"we have prepared this following primer to teach you how the internet is different from the REAL WORLD"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URsqTsMfNqY

Video games are no more influential than books or movies, (catcher in the rye reference just there)

but, boy cotting a COD game ... yeah why not

COD BO , making 12 year old kids smell like fish.

Least it will stop teen pregnancy

Their sad attempt at censorship and fear-mongering is a violation of my community's values and I demand they take their opinions and leave all of us alone.
i second this motion, (or if ninja'd the next corresponding spot in line)
keep your 'did not do the research' arguements out of my media consumption you word-of-mouth misinformed- agenda prone politician wannabes.

angry parents are willing to spend tons of time dealing with this kind of s**t, rather than just sit down with their child and figure out that he isn't growing up to be a murderer. Looks like blaming everything = excellent parenting strategy as of lately.

In their defence, the scene is tasteless beyond belief. It fucking slow-mos behind the bullet, follows it until it explodes between his eyes and play some melancholy music in the background.

You're treading on dangerous ground as it is, don't be moronic with it.

At this point there's been 150 posts and probably someone asked the same thing as I'm about to, but can someone enlighten me as how is violence equal to pornography? I mean I can understand the two terms being used to describe something but not each other (maybe there's some violence in pornograpphy and some pornograhy in some violent acts) but I never thought them as the same?

I mean that sounds like "since violence won't get banned we will try through pronography, that ought to catch some more attention!"...

In any case publicity like this ain't a little bad for the game industry as the Californian case against violent games is still going?\

But hey again, maybe you can shed some light as to why they would compare Killing Castro almost 50 years ago is the same as porn? Maybe I'm missing a crucial point or maybe it's supposed to be retarded.
