Mass Effect 2 Box Art Fails to Impress

Anyways meh...the first box art they showed for ME2 was even worse in my opinion. Not that this is much of an upgrade, but at least this is a little better...

I didn't even notice the "2" until a second look. I think the problem is basically one of focus; there's nothing to draw the eye beyond some game characters.

That girl reminds me of the actor in NBC's Chuck, maybe its just me.

I don't think it's confirmed, but it's pretty certain that Yvonne Strahovski is voicing that character ( http://meforums.bioware.com/viewtopic.html?topic=707026&forum=144 ). Makes me wonder if this will be the first RPG I've played with an Aussie character.

Also Adam Baldwin in there too. Awesome.

I knew she looked just like the character, I know its just rumored she may voice the character but thanks for the info.

If the game is good, who actually cares about the package? Does this honestly deserve a whole thread devoted to it? Batman: Arkham Asylum's cover is just as generic as this one. Does it matter? No, the game is still great. It doesn't effect the game at all, so why don't you all just stop complaining?

It doesn't matter how good something is, advertising is supposed to make the product appealing to a mass audience. If it's ugly as sin, no one cares if it's a diamond.

And dedicated servers? At least by the looks of the cover, you should be able to breeze through the game in about five to ten hours, where you'll see the predicable story of space marine bones hot chick on cover, she dies, and then you go Rambo and kill the nasty space aliens that look like Lemon Head there on the cover.

It's not bad but...is that really all they could come up with? The box-art for Mass Effect 1 was pretty sweet, as was the box-art for KOTOR. This on the other hand, is just a tad generic.

The art for Mass effect one was just epic with Saren in the back and the world behind all the party characters and shepherd...
This just seems like it pails in comparison to it.
Maybe we shouldn't compare it to one?
