Just have to replace "fine" with "ungodly huge" and we're set!

Fixed, just copypasta if you want to.

I submit Starbucks is looking for ways to legally murder people without it being obvious.
Quick, someone send a flier to Dick Cheney!

Hell, not even that'll kill him.

EDIT: I say someone should add this to Guilty Pleasures.

DO EET NAO.

That is insane. Who would buy a coffee so big that they can't drink it all? Unless your sharing, it doesn't make sense.

The stomach can hold up to 3 litres (approx.), maybe a bit less, before it starts coming back up again, yeah?
So unless you get 4 of these and drink them within a very short time of each other, this isn't an impossible drink.

Nonetheless, even though it'll cost close to $50, I'm getting one of these in Melbourne ASAP. :D

Starbucks didn't get rich by making sense.

Two Starbucks right across the street from each other, anyone?

Wonder how long it takes before someone tries to drink one in under a minute?

If it's cheaper than buying the equivalent amounts of said drink in litres/millilitres then I'd buy it. The lemonande that is, but there are no Starbucks in New Zealand.

Big deal, I live in Washington and we've had the 31oz size for almost a year.

Last time I went to Starbucks I asked for a medium sized regular coffee. Five minutes later I left with something that was very much not what I wanted. My wife likes their smoothies though ... or is that Caribou ... I forget.

Me in starbucks: "can I have a coffee with milk, please"
Clerk: "What size would you like"
Me: "err, medium"
Clerk: "Right, Grande Americano"
Me: "huh? I want a medium sized coffee, not a large fancy one!"

How the hell is "Grande" equivalent to Medium?

Why can't they just have "Small, medium, large" and have this "extra large" as a side option like "+30p to go EXTRA Large"

>MFW it's cheaper to buy 1 Extra Large than two small sizes for the same amount of beverage

Only iced coffee, iced tea, and lemonade will be available in the new size, disallowing anyone from getting 31 ounces of hot coffee at once (which, to my mind, would be the only point in introducing a new size).
...Damnit. No hot White Chocolate Mocha with chocolate powder and no whipped cream for Candi...

I guess I could just get the above cold, but I like my coffee hot.
