Might it be Magician's Quest: Mysterious Times?
...that game was hyped as a kind of a Animal Crossing in a Hogwarts-style setting. Turned out to be an overall disappointment because of the repetitiveness and how long it took (in real life days) to learn magic.

Actually, there are two other titles I played as a young child that have come to mind in my attempts to help other posters. I highly doubt I'll be helped with these ones because I remember so little of each title. So, as I continue to try to help others, maybe I can be helped to figure out my next two titles.

Both titles were for PC, played them in the early 90's, approx '94-95. The computer my dad had at the time was an Amiga, if that helps.

The first game was a 2D platformer of some sort, and you played as some kind of.... Merman, or something. I remember him being dark green and having finny feet, and thinking of a water monster when I played the game. I never got very far in the game at all because I'd always get stuck at the first puzzle, but you dropped into a well and there was a key you could collect, and that's about all I remember because that's all I was exposed to when I played. Very vague, I know, but it's the best I can provide....

Now the second game... y'all are likely to think I was some kind of hallucinogens or something, but just bear with me.
It was another 2D platformer, same time frame and for PC and everything, where you played as a monkey I believe (IIRC, which I likely don't) and I don't think there was anything else to the game except to make it to the end of each level, I remember having to pass through a small wintery section in one of the levels, and at one point in the game having to go against a boss which was a fat man in a bubble bath, and the bathtub slid back and forth along the ground trying to kill you. He appeared from the left of the screen as opposed to the traditional right side, and you could see him at an earlier point in the level as you passed through a room that was beneath the boss room. I believe the encounter was similar to the Bowser encounters in the first SMB, with there having been an object to collect behind the fat sliding bath man, but I really don't remember if that was the case. I only remember the bath man because of how weird it was. I swear this was a game, and not some dream I had as a child or something like that. XD

If anyone can either find out what these games were called, or remembers having played them please let me know. I won't hold my breath though, as they are so vague/obscure/weird sounding.
Second game still up in the air, but I found the name of the first game which turned out to be Shadow of the Beast. The recent PS4 release helped me to remember.

There are some recent posts in this thread, so here comes yet another post from a user needing help with finding a title.

This is going to be a pretty barebones description of the game, as I remember very little about it. I was a wee lad inside of an EB Games and they had a PS1 demo set-up.

On it was a game that I'm pretty sure was an RPG as it had a turn based battle system, with 3 characters in the party. The one thing I remember most prominently about the game was that one of the party members was an older man who reminded me of an English butler,he had grey hair and a moustache and he used a pistol (possibly silenced??) as a weapon. The pistol as a weapon I know I am not mistaking.

I also believe the two other party members were a boy and a girl, the boy being the typical swordsman and the girl being a magic caster or something but I'm really not sure about that.

It had similar graphics to Shadow Madness (at least, that's how I remember it looking)

This was the one and only time I saw this game, and I've always wondered what it was as it seemed pretty cool (at the time, for all I know the game is utter crap) and I was intrigued by the RPG aspect since I was into stuff like FF, Shadow Madness, LoD etc. and never got my chance to ask the clerks what the game was. It's been almost 20 years now that I've harboured an aching curiosity towards finding out the name of this game. Hopefully, someone can sate it once and for all!

I don't know how key of a point this is, but the guy using the gun in battle is the one surefire thing I remember. Sadly, Google searches of "PS1 RPG game with guy who uses gun" yields nothing, haha.

tl;dr version:
-PS1 game with RPG elements
-turn based battle system featuring 3 party members
-one party member was an older man, grey hair and moustache that used a pistol as a weapon
-graphics similar to that of Shadow Madness
At long last, I have finally found the name of this game. One minor detail of my recollection was off which is why it difficult to pinpoint the game - it was actually for Dreamcast, not for PS1 and the title was "Evolution: The World of Sacred Device". Later ported to GameCube as "Evolution Worlds" and the character I remembered most was the one known as Gre Nade.

Hello, Name's Steven and I'm just new here :) well, I have one certain game I remember it was amusing, cartoony type fps game that I forgot it's title. I remember how I laughed when I defeat the enemies. Well, here's the link to the picture of my drawing of how I visually remember. I did play this game in the 1990's I remember that I'm positive it's on Windows 95 PC

http://thesharkmaster.deviantart.com/art/Game-Help-280202387

And my info below of what I remember

This is a Classic 1st person maze game
It haves black and white graphics with black outlines as shown in the drawing
The enemy shown above does a High pitched "He He He" when coming to attack you
The Enemy Below Is fuzzy and floats and does evil laugh before attacking
There is No Music
They also make sounds reacting to pain
There are sliding doors
The only weapons in the game are the gun and fist as shown

Can you tell me what title is this game if you seen or played this game before?

So I have 2... very old pc games... (windows 95/98 I think)

The first is very vague and would have been in the 90s or very latest early 00s, I'm pretty sure it was set in a circus, but it was set in French and taught you some french words, it also had a game with shapes such as trapezius and rhombus and diamond... and there was another game that involved snake charming. That's it that's all I remember.

The other is one I played in school in the 90s early 00s, it was like a factory and you have to complete challenges, I can't remember exactly I think the factory was for making milkshakes or something and you had to go through the stages of the production line and there were challenges and situations that occurred along the way that you had to complete... bit vague I know - any and all suggestions welcome!
Bump :)
Does really nobody know either of these games? Somebody must have an idea on at least one of them?!

Hi guys, so i joined the forums to digout two ancient flash games that i used to play all the time back in the day, but somehow i forgot the name of them and i have been wondering ever since.

The first game is basically a kid that stands behind a big person. The kid is only trying to do something harmful or harmless to the big guy inorder to go next in the line infront of a resturant or a cafeteria. the game gives the player many stuff and weapons to try out on the big guy such as nails, itching powder and such. all of those stuff and weapons usually backfire on the kid and harms him and not the big guy. the outro of the flash game had a cartoonish wooden plank with words on it.

The Second flash game is of basically a boring office day with workers just doing their work. the player can choose actions that can change the office into something fun like a disco night club, a paperplane fight and other funny things that can be turned into.

These are the two of many games that i would love to play again..

I will be extremely thankful to whoever got the strongest memory around this forum that can remember the names of those two games i mentioned.

Could it be Pencil Whipped developed by ChiselBrain?

Hey all,
It's currently 3 in the morning and I suddenly remembered a game I played back in grade 1/2 (2002 ish area)
All i remember is that it is an in browser, single player, windowed 2d autoscrolling/playform type game. It is not a never-ending type game; there were levels/stages.
You play as a teenager (from what I can remember)(who is wearing a black hoodie, hood up, sleeves cut off) and you have to jump and dodge ledges and gaps. When you run into something, he is lauched back slightly, and lets out a kinda muted (erah) noise. (as well as a few pixels of either debris or blood)
The character moves through the levels as if he is surfing/gliding (i think) and the overall tone, background, and theme of it seemed gloomy/dark.
I thought it was on miniclip/addicting games, but I can't remember, and there is limited search results
Also, on one particular level, there was a mushroom, and if you ran into it, the whole screen went trippy for a few seconds.
Sorry if this is very limiting..This is all I remember.
Thanks to anyone who can help!

No that's not it. Heres more info. I'm sure it's MS-DOS game, kindof like Duke Nukem or Doom but it's black and white graphics, 2D pixalated animation within 3D perspective. Not advanced 3D type.

Hello, I try to remember a game when I was 4-5 years old in like 1995-1996. It was a FPS game. I don't remember it has a menu it just starts in a corridor that is curved or l shape to right and there were 2-3 soldiers to kill in there. The corridor opens to a room that has windows with a night city view I think. On the right side there suppose to be an elevator or something like that and I couldn't pass there. I want to find this game and pass that room :D Maybe it was a demo or shareware that starts in a middle chapter I don't know.

Hello, guys, I've been searching for a game for 12 years now and I still cannot find it.
I played it when I was 5-6 years old (Which was around 2000-2003 but that isn't necessarily when the game released).

You were playing as a boy with an eye patch and holding a torch which you could see in the main menu also. Behind him was a creepy castle.

The game was top-down view and you were playing in a closed environment which was with the size of the screen and the levels were like a simple labyrinth. There were several enemies on a level - werewolf, a witch with a broom and there we weapons for them spread on the level which you had to strategically get and use. You could get a treasure (I'm not sure) but I don't remember the goal. I remember very well that if you ran out of time there was a really huge - centipede/snake/worm which just appeared and eating anything in the whole labyrinth.

I don't remember if the following things are true:
1. The whole level was dark and you could light the area around you.
2. I played it on Windows 98
3. The graphics were 3D (very early stage of 3D)

I really want to find this game because I can remember it quite vividly in my mind. I really hope you can help me guys :)

I've been having trouble finding an old game.

It was from the mid 90's (like 93-97 era), the early days of more fancy 3D rendering and FMV games. I seem to remember it coming on multiple CD's.

You controlled some kind of exploration robot or hovercraft in "first person" in some kind of tropical jungle / ruins type of atmosphere, perhaps on an island and there were creatures or aliens of some sort, I believe. I seem to remember starting out over the ocean and having to approach the island. I don't think the controls were particularly fluid, more like you click to move or fire a weapon and some video plays at you showing what happened. I never got far enough in it to remember a lot because it was "super performance intensive" at the time.

Does that ring a bell for anyone?

- FPS
- Your character is on some kind of graveyard
- Enemies showing themselves behind tombstones (their heads sticking out, one by one) and shoot at you.
- 1995-2000 aproxx

Dunno if it was just 1 level of a demo game. But remember playing it as a kid once, and never saw it again.
Your character was anchored (couldn't move) and you only could see a gun/rifle.
As i remember, graphics were great for that age.
*bump*

Help plssss. I've been quoting this msg for 5th time lol :(
Maybe: Blood Bath At Red Falls, check this: https://youtu.be/nN6Bv7jWGXc?t=437
Man.. I can't describe you how grateful I am for this. I don't even need to play it once again, just wanted to see this and convince myself that game actually exists.

It's been 20 years since I'm searchin those 3 games (alien cabal, remington top shot: interactive target shooting and now this - blood bath at red falls!).
Wow, you ppl did outstanding job. I love this forum!
Thank you all!

I've actually remembered one more. Guess it was around 99-02 when I played it. It was probably just a demo 1 level, but can't be sure.
Have a vivid memory of alien as a waiter in some spaceship and if I'm correct, you needed to shoot some bottles in the bar.(!?!?)
Don't know if it was a task, or I did that just cause game allowed me, haha.

Graphics were quite nice, but aren't they all when you remember only glance of childhood. In my mind it's probably lot better than the game actually was back then.

Nevertheless, if someone remembers similar plot, write it down guys!

Hello, if there is anyone who played this game please reply to this thread. Im looking for this game for 1 year.
So I was playing this game like 6-7 yearsa ago, i dont rememeber quite well, it had good looking graphics . It was a third person action adventure with puzzle type of game. In that time while I was playing this game I didnt know english
Things I remember from this game
1. Well you we're in some type of roman/greek temple and some kind of soldiers with swords or spears attacked you, the main thing I can remember is that your main was that you could transform into a monster(like a minotaur or some kind of a hellish creature)and while you were in this form your weapon was your hands, after you fought the waves of soldiers and find your way through the temple, you enter into a big white room, where there was a voice telling you what to do.
2. Another thing that I remember is that sometimes you were summoned into a hellish dimension, where a big monster on a flying plain terrain or rock(more or less like Thanos from Marvel Universe), was telling you things on what to do I don't know quite wall what was telling me because what he was saying.
3. I remember that you were in some kind of dark cave where you had to find your way out or in and there was a female voice telling you things, and then you have visions of her talking with you.
4. The last thing I remember was that you we're in a house with a courtyard and fences, I was lost there and I couldnt find my way out or I didnt what to do. It was a modern house and there were cars passing and I THINK that you could use guns, I dont know..
I was playing this game when I got my first computer and then I was playing games like : Total Overdose, Tomb Raider, Nosferatu, Return to the Castle Wolfenstein. I think it was a 2000s game because it had good graphics for the time, and it scared me, it wasnt horror but it scared me.
If anyone knows it please tell me the name of the game, and I will be in your debt
Thank you very much!

I'm gonna go with Warcraft / Warcraft II / Warcraft III.
