This has been bothering me for a long time and I can't for the life of me remember the name:

You played a stickman,
it was multiplayer (not the kind where 2 people play on one computer, the kind where you can play with strangers),
it was web-based,
I think there were teams and you had like a suit of the team colour?,
You could make maps,
the maps were just like blocks. So everything was made with different kinds of blocks.
It was a shooting game.

This is all that I can remember about the game, I hope it's enough. Please help!

Thanks in advance for any help.

Okay, this game is on the platform of either playstation or playstation 2 but i believe it was on the PS1. Its a space battle game that you are controlling a space ship. You are moving forward like a first person shooter but it acts like a shoot them ups type of game. Instead of going up or to the right/left you are flying forward. It is a very colorful game with lots of bright explosions.

The game play is best described as the ship enters the planets atmosphere and you begin shooting against machines/towers and what not. One of the weapons I clearly remember is these four bubble beams that go from the center of the ship that is shotting toward the front of the ship and than you can switch it to shot to each corner of the screen. The game is played at a set speed and direction, you just move across the screen left, right, up, and down.

I can "TRY" to explain it in more detail if needed but this is the best I can do if you ask me.

A game that comes extremely close to it is called VANARK but the game that I played was more colorful and it was on different planets.

Hi everyone-

I need help with regards to this specific game I am looking for- I've literally searched google for it without any satisfaction.

It's a DOS, PC game - The game is quite old school (I can remember playing in like 2nd, 3rd grade - 1997/1998, it could even be an older game)

You select a boy or girl character
Then they adventure in this almost 2D/3D like world and you have to complete a level, once that level is complete you have to spell a word.
That's all I can recall with the game- you could play as though you going on some adventure and only afterwards the quiz part of the game would pop up to spell a word. So it's kind of an educational game but focus is more on gameplay.

Please could someone help me - I can't remember the title of this game.

And also The game includes different levels - like 2D worlds if I'm not mistaken- you take your boy, or girl character through this 2d world and adventure through- I don't remember if you had to perhaps find a key and then unlock a door in order to go through to the next level- I think that was part of the game play.

Here are three games that fit that description: Starblade by Namco, Novastorm by Psygnosis, and The Hive by Rainbow America. All of them are for PS1.

--edit-- It's an game probably somewhere in the '80s early '90s --edit--

I'm looking for a game that I used to play with my brother. I did find it some years ago but I've lost it again.

It's set in japan and I think you play a Ninja. The view of the game is a map, where your character is shown as a square with face on it. You can walk around on the map and visit towns and temples and even go on a boat and sail to distant islands. When you encounter a foe, the view changes to a side view with you and your advesary. You can advance and retreat in steps or kick or punch high straight or low. Every time you would move, so would the opponent. It took some getting used to, but after a while the fights were doable. But I could never figure out where to go to advance the main story and I would end up dead or in some jail or something where i couldn't get out.

I sure hope somebody knows which game I'm talking about!

From those three that you mentioned the closest that come to the game is novastorm but the game that I played did not have all the extra drones and the full energy/health around the screen. From the other two games mentioned you can not see the ship but only the cursor, the game I played actually showed the ship. Thank you but I will keep looking.

***EDIT***
I checked out NOVASTORM a little further and there were some resemblance so I bought the game and I will check it out as soon as it is delivered. Even though I never remembered drones and the full screen energy bar stuff, there was a level that I remembered and one youtube reviewer did show that level. Thanks again.
***EDIT***

Hey guys, hoping you can help. Looking for a game for a friend with the following details:

Browser-Based
Literally just a map of rectangles when you start. Zero story.
You start with one square
If someone takes that square, you lose.
Real Time
Multiplayer
There were sometimes impassible walls, mainly only on the big two week maps
You also had this supply route buff thing you could get it would strengthen the troops in existing territories
If you had territories that didn't connect to the main one, they could die off.
There were mountain areas in the bigger maps. They were really hard to dig through. But there were sometimes like diamonds or something you could get out of them that you could buy buffs with.
I've been trying to look around for a bit with no luck. Any chance someone here knows?
I think we're looking for the same game.

Hi all - such a useful thread!

Am looking for a PC point and click game from the 90's (or very early 2000's). All I remember is some really random details:

You play as a kid. At one point you have to look up criminals' profile on a computer in the street. You have to answer questions disguised in a black coat to get into the criminals' headquarters. At another point you have to combined household elements to make a conductible solution to charge a battery for a big drill machine. You then use that drill machine to dig under the city.

I'd be grateful for any help! :)

Greetings guys! I was hoping any of you could help me with two specific games I used to play like more than 12 years ago . Both of them were played on an old PC I had in one of the earliest versions of Microsoft Windows, around 2002-2005. I will try to outline as many details as I can.
The first one was a game in which you followed some sort of fictional character throughout some weird forests, however you were always stepping on a stone path and ascending to the next parts of the level via a cobbled slope. The enemies were usually some sort of green monsters which carried guns(some were horned too) or a bunch of skeletons later on which emerged from the ground. If I remember correctly, every time you killed one of them, something like their organs were falling to the ground, or maybe their body parts, and you could pick em up , maybe for health? ( I don't remember that part that well). Generally, the background of the game was dark-green and the ground, as I said, was of stone.
The second one was a game I have been struggling to find for many years. I am very positive that it was called Megamania. (or at least something close to Mega). However, when I googled Megamania, an Atari space aircraft game kept popping up, which is not the one I was looking for, unfortunately. While I remember that mine was also called Megamania, the one I was searching for involved a blue (bleu ciel) (sky) background, in which you were controlling some sort of small, square-like character and jumping from platform to platform. I am still pretty sure the name is right, but unfortunately I cannot find any reference to it anywhere.
I wish the above helped anyone who would be potentially interested in replying. Thanks in advance.

I can't give much info at all as I don't remember a lot but I remember a small green lizard, a top hat and a beach ball. You could go into the top hats and come out on the other side of a small 3d map made of cubes and I'm not sure what the goal was but the lizard blocked your path and it just went forward and backwards.

Hello, found this thread through Google and I know this is probably a long-shot but I am trying to remember the name of a shooting/FPS game i used to play on either the original xbox or PS2. (pretty sure the game was on both systems.) I thought the game was battlefield 2 modern combat but that game has a HUD completely different than what i remember.

what i remember is falling down with a parachute with a silenced SMG or assault rifle. you could shoot as you were falling. you also do that in battlefield 2 modern combat, But in the game im thinking of i dont remember the level having any snow on it..

Also, on the HUD on the game i cant recall you could actually see the brass bullets being loaded into the chamber and fired in real time it was like if you were to look down the barrel of a gun that has a bullet loaded into it, you could see the back of the bullet, and every shot you would see a new one load in...this is pretty much all i remembered from the game, i was almost positive it was battlefield 2 modern combat but as i said its missing the little bullet loading animation in the corner of the HUD

I also don't remember being able to freely switch between any soldiers on the battlefield. If anyone has any clue or thinks they know what game im thinking of i would greatly appreciate it! Also, there may be a reward in store for whoever helps me figure it out. this has really been bothering me because i would love to re-watch a play through if this game again on YouTube for the nostalgia.

Hi all,

I am looking for a game that I've played on PC somewhere in 2005/06, maybe few years +/-. The game was free to install and all the kids in school were playing it.

So here is the set up:
The game is running/collecting game, very interactive and colorful. In the beginning, the boy (which is not an icon in like super mario, it's more like full size, human look-a-like character) runs trough a forest (or more like a field, there are trees and fruits in a line I would say, not an actual foggy, dark forest :D ) and collects fruits and diamonds. What I remember is that you can go inside the tree and collect the fruit that is on highest branches. Also, sometimes when you touch fruits, bees start to come out and buzz. Than you move forward, constantly running/jumping and collecting, and there are several checkpoints on the level. You can also go underground, where there are also fruits and diamonds that you should collect and find a way to go outside again. YOu can also dig for diamonds by moving forward.
It's very easy game to play, I think we found it as kids on a platform called "100 free games for kids" and than you could pick categories and decided to download it after playing trial/demo. It's great for kids and I would like to play it again.

If someone remembers, please share! :)

I've been searching it for years now.

Thank you!

Hey, looking for a very old game, would appreciate any help cause I tried googling everything I can remember but it was of no use. :(
Basically in the game you play as this small guy (block or ball i dont remember exactly) and it vas a vertically scrolling video game, and it was unusual because the game went from the bottom to top.The game was over when the screen caught up to you. What you had to do was break ice blocks or something to keep going downwards. I would like to give more information but I really can;t remember more :C. Any help would be appreciated ;D
Edit: I played it on my pc if that helps, I dont think it was available on other platforms but not too sure.

Sounds like a Mr. Driller clone. There's been quite a few, I even remember playing one in school in early 00s but can't recall the name.
