I used to play a game on either Sega or SNES. You play as a little bouncy ball with a face and it is a side scrolling platformer. I have tried to look it up so many times and it always ends in failure!!!
This sounds a little like a game I used to play called "Super Putty".
You were a wad of putty with eyes, shaped like a ball. You could bounce
Or stretch between platforms.

Does this look like it at all?

There was this sorta dungeon game for one of the old Ataris. It's where you start on a map, at a house but at first there are three lights for windows, which actually represent your lives. You pick sections of the map, I think they were color coded black, red, and blue. Black had no items but alot of arrows for you to collect in the dungeon, red held an axe, and blue I forget. But you had to collect all the items to unlock a door(I never got that far) and kill a dragon(once again, never this far.) Only thing I remember of the enemies was there were like brain looking things that'll fly through the walls and kill you, but you couldn't kill them.

Sorry if this is too obscure in the massive world of games, but I'm trying to remember a flash game.

It was a multiplayer game, a sidescroller. You played as a square-ish smiley face, on a black or grey background, I'm pretty sure. You could go side to side and jump, and as well, create blocks of various types (standard, elevator, etc.) and colors at will. So people would make huge pieces of art out of these blocks, or make these massive chain reactions that take your avatar all around the giant map.

Does anybody know what I'm talking about?

Were there a large selection of cars with two people in the cars at all times? If so, it might be Outrunners, or outrun 2019.

As for my game, You were a police officer that drives a car for a good part of the game, then your cop car becomes a motorcycle, and eventually a jet. The game had to my memory a mission based system, and I THINK a type of free roam (Don't quote me on that one) It was a Playstation 1 title I think... or a genesis title. It was NOT spychaser, it was like some dystopian future game. Uhhh.... I can't remember much else. Someone please... PLEASE help! It's been haunting me forever trying to figure this out.

Rush 2049?

That was a pretty crazy racing game, if my memory serves me correctly.

Downhill Domination.

One of my first ever PS2 games, and it still remains as one of my favorites. Plus, you could unlock a character from "War of the Monsters."

That, is kickass.

I remember...this...

You play as this woman..who has a dragon. It's a 3D game. Your health is a red orb on the left and the dragon is a golden orb on the right. Balista's would shoot at you and your dragon would get hurt....I remember it maybe..raining...then I remember you off your dragon and in a cave...looking for...something....

thats all I can remember... Dx

Shoot, that looks very similar, but I remember seeing it a few years before that particular one was released. Cheers for the suggestion, though, it's definitely close (and kind of looks familiar, too, I wonder if I've come across Gauntlet Legends without realising it).
FYI, Gauntlet Legends was originally an arcade game for quite a few years before it ever came to N64, you may have seen it then. It was an amazing game and I loved both of them :)

I'm glad I've never had this problem. I started playing games recently enough that I can remember my earliest gaming days. Now it's just a matter of remembering whether I got my PSX first or my GBC...

I recall an old Playstation game in which you played as an anthropomorphic tiger who had some sort of Chi powers. But in the beginning, you are attacked by this Dragon and are on a revenge quest. You go around and meet/battle other Zodiac animals. The name has escaped me for fifteen years.
I got it for you right here: "Tai Fu: the Wrath of the Tiger". It took a bit of searching, but I remember renting this game as well. The gameplay reminded a small bit of Crash Bandicoot, but maybe that was due to my age and the color schemes used in the game.

Still, it was kickass.

It was a sidescroller. Though it was inside a house. The main characters had pointy heads and.. I think they wore some kind of detective outfit. On the screen you could see two floors of the house. I can't remember what the main objective of the game was though.
Are you thinking of Spy vs Spy? If so, that was an awesome game, and 2-player. You were in an apartment which you had to set traps to try to kill the other spy. One was wearing white, one was wearing black.

ok so first thanks for starting such a topic .. i registered an account just for this thread.
i got three games that i can't remember their names (some serious memory issues!)

1) the first game i used to play on PC like 12 years ago or so (probably a DOS game) the setup is simple, a shoot'em up game with zombies where you choose between a male or a female character at the beginning then you shoot the zombies and rescue people.

2) the second one is on PC too but i think its older than the first .. you're a DUDE (probably blonde) and you're in the desert (probably the wild west) the view is something like a birdeye's view but its closer (you can move all over the map) .. lots of weapons (machine guns, rocket launchers .. ) oh and i remember that one thing where you go to an oasis like water-place to heal or something.

3) this one i used to play on PC too but i think its been ported from (PS1 maybe?) .. its a side-scrolling/platformer game where you control a lemming like creature who attacks foes with his hat (i think you learn more moves later for this hat thing)

p.s. im really desperate to find these games so anyhelp would be much appreciated, oh and please forgive my sucky english
1. I'm 100% sure you are thinking of Zombies Ate My Neighbors, if not well I'm sorry :)

2 & 3. Both of these sound very very familiar, but I can't quite picture the games.

This Tank game for the N64, that had a fixed 3rd person view, missions, and incredibly cheesy story. It was so fun though. :3
BattleTanx? Based upon its page on the Wiki, and the story, I'd say that this is the one you are looking for. Death of 99.9% of females on the planet? That sounds just crazy enough to be your game!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BattleTanx

[sub]I mean no disrespect to the females of the Escapist, as I was merely pointing out the audacity of the story that this game provides...[/sub]

I have a few games which I have never been able to figure out their names, but I can only think of one right now.

I played this game when I was 3 or 4 years old, so realize this may be innacurate :) . I played it on an old school computer (it was no later than 1991 I think) and I believe the game had 5-10 floppy disks. I have always wanted to say it is called Dragon's Lair, but every internet search I've used has always turned up games that never look similar.

Anyways, I remember you start off in shack or small farm type building, and outside is your pet pig (I wish I could remember his name! lol) I don't remember how you move around the world, but I believe it's an isometric view which is stationary. I think I remember a large river south east of where your farm is and I remember eventually entering a cave, which I believe had a dragon in it, and after entering you needed to climb a rope or get a rope to proceed. That's all I can remember, someone help! This has been bothering me for 20 years :)

One of the other games I wish I could remember more about was more recent than NES but definitely older than SNES (I remember most SNES games I've played, I have a pretty good memory) All I know is it was a JRPG. I know that isn't helpful, but it wasn't any Final Fantasy, Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, or Phantasy Star. It wasn't Shining Force (and it wasn't a tactical rpg), but this thread just made me think of that game and how amazing it was...
