So, there's this game my mom had on her pc from around mid to late 80's, early 90's. It's a side scroller like Mario. The person you use is a boy around 12 years old. I think he's wearing a ball cap? You have a laser gun, but you use other weapons as well. The outcome is basically the same as Mario and other side scrollers. Get through the course by hopping, jumping, avoiding enemies etc. Anyone know what game that is?
One of the Commander Keen games?

hahaha! That's it! I really appreciate that. I love this game. :)

Hello,

So I've been trying to find this game for awhile now and I just can't seem to get it. It was a PC point and click game. I remember playing as a little boy but i think you could also choose to be a girl. The atmosphere is very dark and it had eerie music. From what I remember you get trapped on a (ghost?) ship and you need to escape by finding certain objects and there is a voice which guides you while explaining some things to you. At the end you face off against the thing (ghost?) captain of the ship on the deck.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help, I really wish to find and play it again xD
Maybe

Hey! I can't remember the name of this game for the life of me. I played it back when I was in 4th grade, in school, but I remember how it was played. It was like a farming meets Oregon trail type game. You would see this image of a old wooden style house. There was farmland around it too. It would show the changing of the seasons as well. You would have to make sure your family had food and everything they needed by the winter months so they would survive. You could sell food you harvested and traded to gain items for the family. The family could have kids, get sick or other things. I wish I could remember the name of this one.

Try

3rd World Farmer (2005)

it is a flash game but looks very similar to the one you say

I will try to be as detailed and specific as possible.
This didn't have a lot of color. Most of the platform and the character(s) were black. [Think Limbo.] It was a platform game that involved moving towards something to get to the next level. There was also a kind of story that went with it. I remember white words that talked to you. I think they helped most of the time, but they could have been telling the story, I'm not entirely sure.
I played this game online at least 2 or 3 years ago, perhaps more.
There was one point in the game where a female was introduced (or perhaps she was always there I don't entirely remember) but more importantly you could play as her. Using the two of them and switching between them you could solve the puzzle of the level, which usually involved getting the two together, or to the next level...
I'm pretty sure one level you played as one of them and the other followed your movements but in reverse, and I don't remember if you could switch at that point, but you still had to find a way to get them both together or to the next level.
It was a rather short game (I think it took me 20 minutes or something) and I believe there was a bit of a love story to it, but that could just have been the feel of it.
I really liked this game and would be so appreciative of anyone who finds it/remembers it. I've been searching for weeks now!

Hi guys, trying to remember a game I remember playing back when I was probably 4 or 5 (around the year 2000). It was a side scroller on pc. The introduction video was a boy at school who gets caught sleeping at his desk. I can't remember how but he ends up in a dark world/planet/inner earth place where you jump over gaps and there are monkey-like creatures that kill you if you fall.

I don't remember there being any weapons on the first level, or I just couldn't figure it out lol.

Very vague description I know but it has been killing me for years and I can't find it anywhere!

Hope someone can help.

Just wrote this out and internet died, I'm going to give a basic description of what I put.

-PS1 game
-Driving game in cars with weapons and could possibly upgrade weapons on car and definitely buy new cars with new weapons. Similar concept to death race but not that. Perhaps had a name similar to destruction derby but not any of those games.
-One loading screen had a very muscular guy in the foreground with a car wreck in flames in the background behind him and the steering wheel in his hand.
-You raced around courses which were based in the ruins of U.S cities such as Los angeles, I have no idea why they were ruins haha.
- There were standard races but also boss fights where you raced/fought against other cars and the boss to win the race to beat him.
- There was definitely a green (perhaps tank ish) car you could upgrade too?
- Fairly sure there were different characters and your choice of character determined the starting car (may be wrong, it's been a long time haha)

I haven't found the game anywhere so any help would be hugely appreciated :D Me and my bro use to play it ages ago and thought i'd buy it as a gift for him if it's available/anyone knows the name haha :D

Thanks in advance!
Maybe Vigilante 8 or it's sequel Vigilante 8: Second Offense.

Thanks for the reply but unfortunately not, it didn't have missions as such just a campaign type mode where you drove the courses and had the boss fights. Sorry I can't give many more details about it. :)

Not an old game actually, an RTS which has 3 races.
Humans, some kind of robots (white robots, which need energy)and aliens(huge spiders which can be upgraded)
There are some heroes and I believe it's from 2007-2009.
Sounds like Starcraft, but the date would be off (it's from 98, I think).
It's not starcraft...
This game is not very popular

Gave up on trying to find it on any on the video game databases so here I go. Going to try and describe the best I can.

- PC game, Windows 95/98/XP
- Released between 1995 and 2005
- 3D real time strategy game, you can change zoom in and out from ground view to aerial view
- Science-fiction/futuristic theme
- Units include tanks, perhaps also aerial units
- Different units for each building. Not sure if upgradeable
- Fog of war (literally fog)
- Somewhat like Supreme Command, except not as fancy(?)

Well, there's this app I used to play a few years ago. It starred a girl with pink hair has her dad ( I'm not sure if it's her dad, or the emperor, or both) swept away by some dragon. It's a side scroller, and you can have your own dragon pet. The npcs give you quests, and you receive rewards. There are different worlds too, and everything is beautifully designed. The starting screen features an anime version of the character, and a dragon. Based on all these references to "dragons" you could guess the title may have something to do with them. But nowadays there are so many dragon games, it's hard to find the app I'm looking for.

Looking for a windows game from the mid to late 90s. It was an educational math game but it was an FPS pretty similar to doom except without blood and violence and you were shooting aliens. It was never famous (like not even as well known as Math Blaster or Reader Rabbit). You had to answer math problems to get through certain doors. I remember there was a spaceship in it called the Pythagoras and the final boss was this bluish dude with yellow eyes. Anybody got any ideas?

the first game i can't remember is a first person shooter (dos game probably) it was just demo the one i played, where you start with a gun and there is these some kind of agents in black suits and wearing black hats chasing you and shooting at you and you're in some kind of town or something and think there is aliens in the game or maybe your charactere is an alien i don't know..
the second one i can't remember much about it , all i could think of is it was a demo and it's an adventure game (i think) and there is some kind of robot (made of stone not sure either) and there is this guy at the begining where he says "help me find me medipack" and you go find a medipack and give it to him i remember the colour gray was alot in the game and i think you starts in some kind of a labyrinth
the third one is a game that came with pc gamer magazine and has bunch of sierra games including starcraft and queen the eye or final fantasy (i think) it's like a detective game where you start in an office and there is books an old phone (you dial by spinning the number) you click on stuff (so technically i guess it's a point and click only in first person view and you can't move with keyboard)
(bump)
the first i've been told it's alien cabal and indeed it is ,thedkm, thanks for the answer

No, but thanks to you I found the game! Name is "Wanted: A Wild Western Adventure", the sequel of ""3 Skulls of the Toltecs".
