Dear Forum,
I have recently started playing old games again (gothic 2, nox) but there is one from around 2000 - 2006 from which I just cannot remember the name and also countless google searches have not yielded the right game.

As I recall, it was about building your city and then temples for different gods where you could recruit heroes depending on which temple you built. Also, some of the gods you built temples for then prevented you from building temples for others gods. F.e. when you built the temple for the god of nature, you were then unable to build the temple for the god of death. There was also one god which allowed you to just build his temples and none of the other gods. His heroes appeared to be of a viking type.

You could not control the heroes directly, but put bounties on targets (dungeons, enemy cities...) to motivate the heroes to destroy these.

From the dungeons, monsters would spawn from time to time including vampires, dragons, goblins...

Thank you very much for your help!!

- Nevermind, I just found it while browsing another game... its majesty

There was a game I had about 10 or 15 years ago. You played one of 4 monsters:
- Dracula
- Frankenstein
- Bride of Dracula or Frankenstein (I think)
- Some sort of swamp monster.

Basically, the aim was to win a mayoral election by converting as many people in a town as possible. You could convert people directly or convert buildings which would then convert further people. I think you also got a resource that you could use to build stuff - like pre-converted buildings, or structures that would repel your rival candidates (you couldn't directly fight them).

Hi guys - one that I can't think of - please help!

PC game (pretty sure)
From around 1998-2000 (I think, might be a bit off!)
Fantasy setting, action RPG I think but more focused on action
Top down view
It was very colorful and slick, nice graphics for the time
I remember shooting arrows as one of the main weapons

Exploring the world, when you came across huts and villages, the indoor areas would be black until your line of sight penetrated the window and then you could see a slice of what was inside the hut. You might see a slice of an orc then shoot an arrow, as you moved in front of the window/door the line of sight would continue to move back and forth as like a sliver of what you could see inside (like in real life). This mechanic felt new at the time and really cool.

Thanks - I know its not much to go on!

This game is one that I have been searching for for a while but I only have very vague memories about it.

It was on PC and I played it sometime in the late 90's early 00's (but it may have been older). It was a medieval fantasy game, maybe RPG, that was first person 3D, and simple graphics. You moved about the overworld, time passed (day/night cycle witht visibility going down as it got darker), and NPCs were 2D sprites that got bigger as you approached them. The player character was a young male and I think that he had some sort of magical powers that were untrained at the start of the game. I think there was voice acting along with portrait-dialogue boxes when speaking to NPCs.

I remember a menu screen that was tied to learning your magical abilities. I have the impression of some sort of alchemical interface - a cauldron, or magical forge, some centralized mechanism and in order to learn new spells, you selected various properties and they 'combined' over in-game time. It may have even had something to do with your character spending time to 'study'. I was too young to really understand it at the time. I dont know that I ever actually crafted a spell.

Other tidbits I can recall:

-You could camp by the side of the road to pass time and restore health.
-Monsters came out at night into the overworld
-Player character was a novice mage/wizard whatever and part of the story was in trying to learn why you could do magic.
-There was an NPC you were supposed to find and talk to. When you found him, he complained about being out of tea (or ale, something like that) and would only help you if you brought him this beverage. I always got stuck here as a kid. Again, I dont know for sure but I have the vague idea he was dressed like a monk - brown robes, belt of rope, bald head.
-I think you always start a new game having washed up on a beach but this is the weakest memory.

Hello ! I'm looking for a game, it was a lateral view and the type of gameplay was very similar to "Duke nukem" but graphics were a little bit better.
I remember that many weapons were hidden in the decor, there was some hidden rooms which can be discovered by placing the character neer the wall of the decor....
It's a PC game beetween 1995 and 2002 i think !

If you can find it, i'll be very thankful !

Hi all, help me please.
I can't remember a game i played ten or more yers ago on PC.
It was either RTS (most likely) or RPG. View from the top.
All I remember is search in a forest for some strange blue spheres.
When you activate those sphere you hear a starnge echoed sound.
In that mission you are playing for one character (no team) on a horse.

Also there could be ships in other missions... don't remember.
"The Dark Legions" an Age of Empires type of game?

Hi there, I'm trying to find this game I used to play a demo of for the longest time. The game is easily 13+ years old, maybe older.
I don't remember much, but I'll try my best to explain what elements were in.
You were put in an arena with players (offline) who looked just like you, the suits the players wore looked a little like Master Chief's.
In this arena you'd seemingly skate around on (ice?) skates, I'm not sure if there was ice on the floor. You'd try to eliminate the other players, however I'm also not sure if killing was involved here.

Thanks to anyone who can lead me towards finding it!
I think it's Blast Chamber

I need help with 2 games please, I did not read the 678 pages here so im sorry in advance if its repeated.

PS1 fighting game, it was a gore fest with really creepy characters, like a midget walking on sticks, a cannibal carrying a human leg, very BDSM related.

This one is the trickiest, i think it was PS1 it was a turn base strategy if i remember fully, you had to breed monsters and combine them with monsters or materials (i do not remember this quite well), It was not a digimon game, nor a jade cocoon, it wasn't dragon quest or eternal eyes or creatures. It was a really hard game, 40 minutes in i remember going into some kind of ruins and i could never really go past them. If the monster breeding went wrong you would end up with a horrible mess of a creature. I dont remember the game using sprites as characters. Thats all i remember I need this game please help me, it has bugged me for months
\

The fighting game looks like Bio Freaks or maybe Thrill Kill

The second game looks like Master of Monsters

Hi. I'm looking for a game I played about 8 years ago... ish. I'm pretty sure it was on PS2 although it might have been very early PS3. It was a first person RPG but not a dungeon crawler. It was free roaming and as far as I can remember had very little story. I never got very far into it but I remember the best way to start was to find the first enemy, kill it and some of the time it would drop a katana that would be much better than your starting weapon. It was a very dark landscape. I remember something about having to travel through a tunnel after about 20-30 minutes of playing. There were no party elements it was just the main character. The graphics were pretty good, about call of duty 2 tier? Maybe a little less. I know it's not a lot to go in but I would much appreciate it if anyone knows!

EDIT: !!!!!!!!!Someone on reddit has managed to find the game! It's called Warhammer Online: Wrath of heroes if anyone is interested :)!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys,

This game has been closed down - had it's own launcher, and no, i don't remember the companies name or anything of that matter. Oh, also they gave a brief warning that the game was being shut down about 1 month prior

Altogether by the time the game closed down there was about 15 or so heroes/characters in the game... now into the important stuff.

The game i'm looking for I played probably about 2-6 years ago. It was a pc only multiplayer Free to play Third person Hero game that was (i think) 6v6 with the main objective being capturing points dotted around the map until you reach the point-cap~ thus winning you the match. You had a few starting heroes and could unlock more via ingame currency earned from playing matches (The heroes were very pricey if you used ingame currency) or could also be unlocked using the payed for currency. The game got quite regularly updated with more heroes and occasionally a few other things like fixing bugs. Each hero had it's own set of unique abilities - some of which i will list now,

(This is only from memory)~ A rat (stealth dps) character that had poison bombs and could go invisible (visible if you got to close to an enemy) with (maybe a smoke bomb?) and the hero's weapon was dual daggers. I think this hero could also heal himself in some way but i'm not sure

Next hero~ A scorpion (tank?) - don't remember anything about this.

Next hero~ Some sort of goblin (or frog?) that was a healer with area of affect heals that placed a circle shaped heal on the floor healing all teammates that walked into it with also some more abilities of which i don't remember.

Next hero~ A human (single target dps) that had a mace as his weapon (i think) and the abilities i remember are being able to root a single target~also stunning them and could leap towards (or pull towards-can't remember) other players.

As for maps all i remember are 4 maps (I'm pretty sure there were more than 4) -

Some sort of grassy tree map with a temple-like structure in the middle,
A stone ruins map,
A fully indoors sand temple map,
And some sort of gladiator arena with a circle in the middle of it (also had other structures inside the arena)

That is pretty much all i remember about this game and it's driving me bonkers that i can't remember it, if someone could direct me to this game i would be more than grateful... I've been trying to find this game for months and all I can think of doing now is posting what I remember and hoping someone can help. Thank you if you have read all of this, even if you can't help me in any way :) If you find this game you. mean. the. world. to. me.

Hi, there was this game on a PC back in the 90's, where you could choose between a boy or a girl character, it was first person view like wolfenstein 3D, but in a fantasy setting. You were in a maze and maybe it was related to a vampire, but not sure. On the first level you had to kill giant spiders and humanoids (maybe dwarfs) with giant spiked clubs and horned viking-associated helmets. Your weapons were your fists, but you could pick up items, heals and treasure. The exit was locked and I believe you had to find a key or finish off the monsters to unlock the door.
Can someone guess the name of the game?
