Ok so this one might be a little hard. I remember playing this game on a PC about 12 years ago. It was probably running on windows 1995 or 1998. I don't believe it was a DOS game but it could be. It looked like an old DOS game tho. It involved a man in a white painter suit. He walks on bricks and paints them. Birds come along they look like seagulls and shit on the bricks and they change them back. You can take elevators to different levels and solve little puzzles. I've been looking for it forever!! HELP!

I've actually remembered one more. Guess it was around 99-02 when I played it. It was probably just a demo 1 level, but can't be sure.
Have a vivid memory of alien as a waiter in some spaceship and if I'm correct, you needed to shoot some bottles in the bar.(!?!?)
Don't know if it was a task, or I did that just cause game allowed me, haha.

Graphics were quite nice, but aren't they all when you remember only glance of childhood. In my mind it's probably lot better than the game actually was back then.

Nevertheless, if someone remembers similar plot, write it down guys!
Hmm, this sounds like it may well be Space Quest 6. There's a bar with an alien waiter very close to the beginning.

- Harder one to find here. Genesis horizontal scrolling space shooter. Lots of mechanical organic elements into the structured environment. The first stage was open space, but you'd soon get to the second stage with a tunnel like mechanical structure through an entry portal. The art of the machines were a tan beige color I think with organic nodes going through them. A very active moving background, very visually cluttered but aesthetic as well. Once you died it reset you to the beginning of the most recent level beat.
The 'mechanical organic' part reminds me of Menace, a cracking Psygnosis game, but that was never on Genesis/MegaDrive.

If it wasn't simply R-Type, there were a number of R-Type clones on the Genesis, however. Perhaps it could be one of these?

Nah, this one is from 1995. My game was at least 5+ years newer. I remember it being a FPS (hmm), you were holding some sort of a space gun, and there was a bar with that alienish looking bartender in something that looked like a spaceship. Don't know. It's really hard to dig up this tiny pieces of memory. But i'll continue to post. So far 3/3 on this forum, I'm not even afraid someone will remember this game.

Btw, it probably wasn't a big title. Got a feeling I've played a small demo from CD of a PC magazine my father used to read at that time.

Thanks for trying nevertheless, I appreciate it.

Okay, Google isn't helping me.

My memory is the biggest blur with this but here goes.

It's an old game I played on PC years ago. Late 90s, possibly early 2000s. It might have been DOS, but more likely Windows.
The art style was very flat colors, the edges were pointy on characters and objects, and also used real pictures for backgrounds at times.
When it didn't use pictures, the background was pure black.

It starred some kid characters. A boy and a girl.

I think the game was some kids' point and click thing. I can't remember a thing about the gameplay otherwise.
All I remember were a few educational elements, like teaching about things like Zucchinis and Wasps for some reason.

I remember it had a list of other games with the same characters, saying something like "Age 3-99" or something. I might have been playing a demo, so this info may not be important.

This is the most vague and obscure thing I ever tried to uncover, but I need to know what I played so many years ago.

There's this educational video game I played when I was two in 1994, you're a dog and I only remember that when you left either left or right you came across a tree and apples fall down as a voice counts them. This would really help, it's been driving me crazy.
Anyone know?

Hello, I'm wondering if someone knows the name of one pc game I played around 10 years ago. I do not rembember much about it but it is basically racing game, I think it was going on somewhere in space. Tracks were indoors, in some caves or something like that, but they were not part of the environment around, they were lifted a little above the surroundings. I even think you could fell off the track and then be reseted, but not 100% sure. You could choose the color of the vehicle, and vehicles looked like wierd space motorbikes (don't think there were any wheels) made of crystal, sharp edges, and they were flying just a little above the track with a racer on top. Even think there were direction arrows down on the track. I know it is not much, but I really hope someone will recognize this game!
Thanks

Hello! Sorry for my bad english.

There was a medieval RTS game like Age of Empires where you could play a campaign (i think). If I remember corectly there were 2 or 3 choises - the first choice was that you were starting in a forest only with a knight riding a dark horse, his flag was red and then you could reach a friendly town having the flag color in very light blue and that town was having an air baloon flying over the town, and the peasants or constructors were wearing white with brown pants (i think). The 2nd choice was starting in a medieval town that you could control, the peasants or constructors were wearing grey with red and they were automatically collecting seeds, and then after a while you would be attacked by another faction. The 3rd choice (here im not sure) you would start with a knight on a white horse, the horse couldnt walk, only run, and the knight color orange and the place where you would start was in a destroyed village only with a few peasants remained.

The game had also some kind of pope or a church guy that could change the color of enemies flag intos the players flag.

Dang, I have one. I can't for the life of me remember what console it was on, either, I think either PS1 or N64, maybe even earlier, though I doubt it. You controlled a girl (I think wearing green? With brown hair?), and the only part I can remember is running through a dark series of caves, and to recover health you had to eat stuff that looked like chicken wings, which were visible on the floor to pick up (I'm pretty sure there was a sound effect of her wolfing the chicken wings down). There was a ridiculous boss somewhere in the caves, too, and he was pretty tough, but other than that...

Nothing. Dammit. I played it very briefly at a friend's when I was six or seven, and have never seen it since.
I think the game is excalibur 2555

very cool this exists.

I've been trying to find this game name over the last years but I couldnt.
I played it on my dad's PC like 18/20 years ago and I think it was some kinda of demo, because I (as a little kid) could never progress.
I remember you controlled a guy in a 3D home or office, but I don't remember if it was first or third person. You could open doors, and interact with objects like cabinets, sink?, bed, just home furniture.

I think it was some kind of escape the room but I'm not sure.

Not much details, I know. Sorry

Good evening to everyone. I'm trying to remember an arcade game about early 1983/1986, probably platform or shooter with a blonde girl probably with pink dress kidnapped/ screaming help, purple/black car. I know these are little information but long time ago i remember i found an answer here. I also found a small video on youtube (there are not any longplays). Game is japanese with strange title, probably 1 or 2 words.... Hope this will be helpful. Thank you all in advance!

Reposting because I've been dying to find this game and have yet to see anyone solve it -- it's a math computer game from the 90s -- and the person who posted this had a pretty good description:

"There was a female cat character who guided you through the activities and made bad puns that varied from one activity to the next. Each activity had a specific theme in addition to the subject it taught: the first one taught patterns and the theme was a prairie cottage/house where you used shapes to make quilt patterns, another was an alpine ski resort teaching multiplication where you solved problems with cows in balloons and hang gliders, another area was an eastern bazaar where you balanced scales to teach solving for variables, etc." There was also a part where you made smoothies/juice for a toucan?

PLEASE I can't find it anywhere! No google searches have come up with anything.

Hi,

I am currently also cracking my brains out trying to remember the name of a combat racing game I used to play back in the early 2000s. I am not sure when the game came out but it was definitely on a windows platform.

I have searched online and I am quite certain that it is not Death Rally or Re-volt and certainly not many of the other popular combat racing titles that would easily come up on google.

Here are some of the details that I can remember.

1) Like many racing games, you start off with a bit of cash and can slowly upgrade your vehicle or get a new car as you progress. You can buy weapons like Gatling guns to rockets and missiles. Aside from that you can also buy traps like oil slicks and some others which I can't remember.

2) I generally recall the game being a top-down racing game but it may actually just be a third person / top-down type as I remember being able to see quite ahead of me and the angle seemed top-down. Perhaps it was somewhere in the middle.

3) I remember the first car being somewhat like a square version of a Volkswagen Beetle type and you progress upwards to a car that somewhat resembled a mustang. However, I definitely do not recall the game naming those as actual cars, meaning that it was not like a need for speed or other car games where the cars in-game represent actual cars.

4) At some point you can also just use a middle tiered car that you purchased and fully upgrade the engines and weapons etc and you can still win races. But at the harder levels, I remember there being a Van vehicle as well, and the van vehicle would allow more capacity or something like that. But other vehicles would be perhaps more maneuverable but less weapon capacity.

5) I know that there were some blue rockets and they would home to your target. Also, at the very late levels, you would jump to the Moon to race there and now you have to another factor that comes into your races which is gravity. I can't recall if there were any jumping type of power ups along the roads that would boost you forward like many other games but perhaps there was, just that I can't remember.

6) I recall being able to be ahead of the computers and when you past them on the track as they lag behind, you can still shoot them if you are fast enough, and vice versa.

I am sorry if the information I provided is not detailed enough but I would really know the game when I see it but I just can't seem to find it.
The graphics are not fantastic but you can definitely see the bullet trails when you fire the Gatling gun etc and the black oil slicks you can spam on the road. And all hell breaks loose when you start the race because everybody is just spamming their weapons.

There is no multiplayer if I recall.

Thanks, and I hope you guys can help me find this childhood gem I used to play!

Thank you for the reply. I will check those out. I remember it being a CD-game though.

Edited - It isn't Kar-nage or Zombie driver. Kar-nage's graphics and playstyle is too much like NFS games which was not the game I used to play, as far as I can remember.

Rock-N-Roll racing is also not the game, graphics on that one is too old. Thanks though!

Hey guys,

Im searching for a game that is what i think advanture/RPG and has top-down view but still kinda 3d ish but also still pixellated.
You were a hero that had a sword, the battles were "realtime", you had multiple regions where the first ones were a forest and after that a cave.
in the forest there were enemys (dont know what they were), after that you went into a cave were there were slime enemy's and at the end a bosslike big bat, after that i dont remember much but i do remember that i got stuck because i couldn't find any goggles.
Thanks in advance.
