Black Ops's twists were nearly straight. Before playing it I'd had been reading Deighton and Forsyth novels, so I realized that to enjoy BO I shouldn't have any kind of culture.

I guessed the plot twist in The Others.Although I think a lot of people probably spotted that one.

I say "sort-of kind-of" because I only suggested it to my friends as a joke, and we had a laugh coming up with all sorts of reasons it could be true... pretty much all of which turned out to be correct. I never really took the idea seriously, so my mind was still thoroughly blown when it was revealed.

It's not really a movie with a twist, just more like a deconstruction of a horror movie. The only "twist" is going in expecting a B horror movie and getting something else entirely.Baldur Moon said:
This. I purposefully kept away from spoilers for Cabin in the Woods for months, just to watch it and find that there really aren't any decent twists. I left the theater wondering whether the filmmakers would have known subtlety if it drop-kicked them down a flight of stairs. I used to try and solve all the mysteries on Detective Conan before Conan did, but... then they started throwing around all these culturally and linguistically specific clues and I was like Fuck it. They seriously had one episode where they said "sayranpoo" or something to a group of people and everyone but the killer sat down, because he was the only one who didn't speak english. Apparently sayranpoo sounds JUST like "sit down please". I've been speaking the languange my entire life and I never knew that, Wow thanks Japan :/

A couple for me.
Number 1: The player actually being Revan. Why, 1. Carth uberly distrusts you. 2. You having visons of Bastila. 3. Jedi Order accepts you as old as you are.
Number 2: That Sovereign was alive. I always got the sense that it was living based off of the indoctrination ability.
Number 3: That Tidus was already dead. There was something fishy about Zanarkind getting blown up yet Tidus is still alive.

See I don't really think it was meant to be a twist. They were constantly hinting that something "bigger" was behind everything. I think it was just meant to be really original and a great ride. It succeeded in both of those for me. Also, one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time.Baldur Moon said:
I'm really good at sniffing out plot twists and am rarely ever surprised. In fact I think the only plot twist to surprise me is the one at the end of the Harry Potter series, you know the one about Snape.
EDIT: Actually I remembered that there were a few plot twists in One Piece that surprised me. Brook's past, the whole thing with Ace, and Hody's motivation were big ones.

In The Darkness II
Right from the beginning I figured the visions that Jackie was having of Jenny were the the result of the Angelus messing with his head, and that it had taken Jenny has its host. I was never heavily into the Darkness lore, but I knew what the Angelus was because of my cousin who is a huge Darkness fan. It was made kind of obvious by the fact that ever time Jackie had one of these visions the Darkness would say "IT LIES!!!", emphasis on the word 'it'.
