I like going to the movies, getting dinner in a nice restaurant, bowling, going to theme parks, whatever. So yeah, I date because the added pressure of trying to somehow appear more impressive and attractive is fun.

I've got nothing against the concept, I've just never gotten around to it.
I asked a girl out on a date once (shaking voice, sweaty palms, all of that) and she said yes. We couldn't agree on a day, and it sort of dragged on so eventually she retroactively said no. That was, ooh, 3 years ago now?
At least nobody can say I haven't tried, and she hugged me once, which is more action than my 4 best friends put together.

Never been on a date. I don't have that kind of money.

Dating isn't actually that common over here. It's more casual for the most part.

As in going to dinner or a movie to get to know someone specifically for a relationship? Fuck no, I'm far too awkward for that. My relationships just sort of... happen from friendships. I suppose I've been on what some people might call dates, but more a kind of 'hey, fancy checking out that film?' to a girlfriend, I've never been one for formality.

No time, no money, no confidence to talk to girls.

Usually I'm under the "I'll date when I'm older" mentality, but other days I think that when I'm older, no one will want me and I'll screw up every relationship I try to cultivate due to my lack of experience. Then I get all existential and sad.

I gave up the dating scene years ago. Too many unrealistic expectations on both sides, and not worth the monetary hassle. Dating women ten years younger than myself really showed me how greedy and self-absorbed some humans can be during their post-teenage cycles.

Besides, I developed a severe case of permanent agoraphobia around the time I quite dating, so I'm never that desperate for companionship anyway.

I've been good friends with a female (yes, a female) since high school. Have we been dating? ...Ugh... I don't actually know.

Bottom line: Why date when you could go straight to omiai? Damnit, the Japanese are brilliant.

Bottomer line: No.

I've never been on a date, so I have no idea what all that would be like.

Honestly, I really don't have the time to be in a relationship at the moment, as sad as that sounds, since I'm back in school with the intention of getting a Masters.

So, I guess I'm glad I'm not in one since I would feel bad for my hypothetical boyfriend.

I've been on a date or two before. Personally though, I don't date. I find it pointless since I figure I'm never going to wind up married or anything so no point in dating.

I've only ever had a boyfriend once, and that was when I was around 7 years old, so I don't really think it counts.
Forever alone ever since. T_T

I've never dated before, and probably never will. The chance of encountering a gold digger or socio/psychopath (or both) is way too high, in my opinion.

No, I have never dated.
I go to bars, talk to women, have sex. If the sex is good and if they are interesting enough people for me to want to continue talking to them (they usually are if I have sex with them, but sometimes you make mistakes when you are drunk) then I catch their number/Facebook/Community-name, and then we chat, meet up next weekend, go to a bar, have fun, have sex, etc. And then it either turns into a relationship or it dies out.

Or I talk to women online via communities/Facebook, then we meet up in a bar, have sex, etc same as above.

It has served me very well. Dates are, as far as I can view them, horribly awkward. In bars, you have alcohol and friends who can elevate the tension if you feel nervous about what to say or get lost in your own ramblings.

Never have and really I don't think I have much of the desire to anyways.
I've had plenty of times when people thought I was or was trying to.
But you get that sometimes when being nice to someone also meant you wanted to fuck them for some reason >.>

I doubt a relationship or a date will just land in my lap suddenly, but I just don't have the will to do the silly courtship song and dance.

I usually tell time with my cellphone. Watches feel too constrictive.
