I assume I'm just one of the crowd. I don't browse here very consistently so I figure I'm never posting enough to leave any lasting impact on anyone.

I am starting to notice you because I keep wondering where that avatar is from. I do have some suspicions but I don't know for sure.
Well, I'm a furry, so, it's my rather generic fursona!

Years ago I was much more well known. Then life happened and my time spent here took a huge hit. Sadly, all I ever have interest in posting in anymore are silly little things like this.
But that's alright with me. The people I used to interact with are still here for the most part, so that's made it worth staying around.

A good game character? Because if I remind people of Raz from psychonauts then I guess it means I have a good personality or something :D

Hey, I can't help that you took LSD during the cheese party.
We all told you it was a bad idea.

Been posting a long time but most of the people that know me have since been permabanned due to how the R&P's section used to be moderated. Few survived the first few months sadly.

Nah, I'm not known on here. It's the same with me IRL, really: barely noticeable and ineffectual. I don't blame you all though, my posts aren't generally insightful or hilarious enough to garner recognition.

I am more or less unknown on here although it makes sense considering the fact that I have not been on here very long. I think I also have a tendency to not be a particularly noteworthy person, I think so anyway, so I don't really stand out much, even less so on here since it's the internet and the only thing people see is some avatar I picked with some username.

Still, I enjoy reading posts on here so I will continue to write a post here and there without much worry as to whether I will be noticed or not.

I am a BIG fucking deal ;)

honest answer yeah I'm probably one of the more noticeable users, weather that's for my avatars, the fact I'm just always constantly around or the quality of my posts I'm not sure

Between my capricious avatar-changing habits and recently-changed username, I'd say I'm not really well-known - I tend to stay out of matters of great importance and just look at that post count for having been here for like three years!

If anyone DOES know of me though it's probably because you can see my dialogue from a mile away; I'm not incredibly bright and you can see that in my writing style

In between "nonexistent" and "some people know of me", but doubtlessly the latter have an issue with me due to... vastly differing viewpoints. I otherwise blend in the shadows.

Something deep inside of me hopes I am recognized at *some* level. I like to think I am. It's probably just my avatar like some other folk

I'm quite the regular on this site.
So I'm sure a couple of big users would be able to point out my presence.

It doesn't exactly matter, but it is always nice to know that you have other friends. :D

First of all, getting referenced in those kind of threads is very difficult. I've done a tonne of things here[footnote]Including but not limited to: Winning a Ratings War, helping out with various community projects and guides, running the Escapist Badge Hunters user group, being featured in the Community Spotlight for said user group and moderating these forums.[/footnote] and I know of at most three or four occasions when I have been mentioned in the past five years. And one of those was only after a conversation with another user in said thread.

Second, so what if people don't post about you in those threads? Just because you don't get mentioned in a thread doesn't mean that you aren't recognised by others. For what it's worth, I personally recall your username and avatar even though I don't think we have ever previously spoken. Chances are others who have had long discussions with you notice you even more. Even if you aren't significant enough to people to make a mention, that doesn't mean you haven't had any impact at all.

TL;DR: Stop worrying about it. Makes your time on this site a whole lot easier. =P

You will always be known by me for the funniest thing I've read to date.
...and just as I'm done trying to paint myself as an almost-nobody to Scarim Coral, you have to come along and ruin everything, dontcha? Because ruining everything is what you do best. Because you're a sober person. *glares, while shaking fist a little*

Though this does kind of support part of what I was trying to say anyway. Our (mine and Not The Bees') conversation consisted of only 5 posts more than two weeks ago, yet that made enough of an impact to make me always known to her. Chances are you (Scarim Coral) have had much longer discussions with others than that.

[hr]

Okay, I'm done with that really confusingly written paragraph where I used someone's response to aid a discussion with someone else. Time to actually respond to Not The Bees' post:

I'm kind of proud of how much that post made you laugh. It doesn't beat one of my threads damaging another user's relationship,[footnote]http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/jump/18.862661.21498083[/footnote] but it's definitely up there as one of my favourite recent moments here. =)

I've been around a bit, posting here and there on various topics or creating topics (most of which get ignored by the masses which I'm fine with). I don't think I'm universally recognized by any but a few of my fellow Injustice League peeps. I don't need recognition though, I just enjoy discussions. Sometimes I'm positively contentious for the sake of contention.

I don't do the whole user group, roleplay, or off-topic forum debate thing so I doubt most people recognize me despite having been around for longer than most of ya. I mostly just comment on video games every now and then.

I was running down the page browsing avatars for Daystar you sick man you. That .gif scared the crap outta me.

OT: I recognize people by their avatars, and if I see them enough, I notice the name and tie them together, which means I know most of the big people around here. I don't participate in user groups and rarely have anything interesting on the forums, so I'm basically a ghost.
