I have no problem with it whatsoever, as long as it's between consenting adults.

There is of course a risk that the "performers" don't enjoy their jobs, but so it is with all endeavours in life. If they're mentally sound adults, that's really their responsibility, not the viewers. Nonetheless, this risk makes me subjectively prefer written or animated pornography, as no one could even theoretically be/feel exploited there.

i dont think that you can say its taboo anymore. its omnipresent, a topic i have talked about with a lot of people, even if i dont know them for very long.
Its quite normal nowadays.

It's a visual stimulation to provoke sexual arousal and aid in masturbation. Don't really know why it's so taboo, probably for the same stupid reason that sex in general is still taboo. And I guess it's mostly an American problem.
No, it's taboo in England as well. I find porn boring. Can't see why everyone is always so excited about it.

I don't particularity mind it, if it says out of my way then i don't really take notice towards it. I do think that it glorifies sex and sets people who are still virgins into a false idolisation of what should happen during sex. some of the scenes in pornography does disgust me (Oral sex, Cream pie).

Kids, pr0n is bad M'key.
It gives people a faulty image about how sex really is.
Sex is great, really great! and it's very different from pornography.
Pornography is a shady buisness that missuses the unfortunate and sell their bodies as a mass media. I have no objections to those who make porn because they like doing it.
So, I have a split opinion.

I have no negative opinions of pornography- no one is harmed by it, specifically (not to imply that it is always the cleanest profession, but that's not pornography itself- it's more the people who make it), and it is a good sexual aid.
So, uh, go ahead, my children, and faux-multiply to your heart's content.

I don't have a problem with porn, I don't watch it myself, although have done in the past (what I mean is I'm not/never been a regular user/watcher)

I find it bizzare when people say the woman is always being degraded or exploited... it's a job, a well paid job at that, which she has chosen to do. It's legal and safe so I can't understand where she's being exploited.

I really dislike a lot of pornographic videos.

Not because I have any religious beliefs or any morals, it's just the moaning of some of the people in said videos becomes like a drill in my head.

"OOH, OOOOO, OOOOH!"

SHUT THE HELL UP.

It is fantasy, and as long as the people are willing to participate and no one is getting hurt, then I see nothing wrong with it. Sex isn't like that, so you shouldn't be getting advise on love making from it, but it is fun to watch sometimes. I see nothing wrong with it.

I think i might be one of the few females to reply to this topic lol. I dont like porn. Ive seen it before, and i completely understand the want of a visual sexual stimulation. And i guess it does give you that. But when it gets to the point (for guys) when u have been in a long term relationship and u still watch it a lot, it kinda sucks for your girlfriend (trust me i know). In my experience it gives some guys a false sense of what sex is, how much they should have of it and where and when and pretty much everything. I'll be the first to admit that sex isnt something that is in my top 3 things to get done. I dont like to see sex as something that has to be had, and that is a chore. Its something that both people (or more if ur that lucky haha) have to want to do.

If u have been an arse hole to me ur chances of getting some are pretty slim. Some guys still crack it if they dont get some. And then they dont understand why... I think these little concepts seem to escape some guys because of porn. Not just because of porn; i think there are some other concerns too (whole different subject), but porn does not help in the slightest. If u can watch it, enjoy it, and not let it interfere with ur own love life, great. But if u are hurting someone else because of it, not so great.

I barely use it now. I'm sort of over it. It seems tame compared to actually doing it with my girlfriend.
