Preferred Melee Weapon Choice?

In gaming/fiction that would be a Machete

In real life I would have to go with the good 'ol baseball bat.

In almost total opposition, I love elegant rapiers and thin stabbing blades for a more gentlemanly way of slaying a foe.

For what purpose? Every weapon has a specific role in combat, and there's no such thing as an ultimate weapon.

I beg to differ. The crowbar is the best melee weapon of everything ever and it is totally awesome.
So yeah, I pick crowbar.

As of right now (I'm in a cosplay mood lately) it would have to be a beam katana from the game No More Heroes (similar to a lightsaber but it's different different).
