I'm not quite sure why his years of experience playing and selling video games really makes him qualified to comment on religious extremism.
I was thinking along the same lines, I run a computer shop and so far no certificate to show my phd in Religious extremism has turned up. When will I ever fill that empty space on my wall :(

But even so, his statement is like saying all bananas are evil after a guy slipped on a skin. Can I push him of his high horse, pleeeease?

Hold on a minute Magnum, Andy's reporting the news, not interpreting it. Go to the source if you feel it's in error.
..?? No how? I think he was interpreting at the end of the video?! And my response was because he is mislead about the "Word"!? So i just think that he and everyone else should know about it.

It seemed to me, that he didn't like what he saw or heard, not because what he saw or heard is really bad, wrong, violent or extremist, but because he had some misconceptions. So i decided to try to remove some of them.

I was more offended by having to watch the plane hit the tower in the CNN footage he put on his video.

I really don't think Nintendo would be stupid enough to put something like that in one of their games. And if this guy is the first one to "notice" it, it can't be very noticeable or happen very often. If I do hear him say that to me in the game, it gives me more incentive to knock him senseless.

For God's sake, why did this moron feel the need to show us footage of 9/11? In case we all forgot what it looks like?

Oh yes, and "What are they trying to feed our kids?" at the end of the video. I think that if toy companies felt like turning all our children into psycopaths, they'd find a better way to do it than a mumbled phrase in a language that they almost certainly don't understand, and they wouldn't use a phrase that has almost no connotations unless put into context. Does this insane dude really believe that this is corrupting the nation?

And more importantly, it doesn't even sound like "Allah Ackbar"!

EDIT: Oh, I've just watched another of this imbecile's videos, and he's one of those right wing idiots who throws around phrases like 'quasi-Marxist' and 'crypto-communist' without knowing what they mean, and refers to saving 'American lives' as if they're so much more important.

Part of me thinks that evangelicals think the term Allahu Akbar is part of a magical spell.. They don't want their children saying it, mimicking their favorite Turkish Pugilist, sort of like how they didn't want their kids to play D&D, because they were afraid that somehow their children would actually summon demons because of all of the "very accurate depictions of real world spells"
Like the people who think kids saying, "Pika! Pikachu!" are unknowingly invoking the powers of pagan electric rodent gods.

I am sorry Andy, but i think you lack so much knowledge about Islamic culture.

Let me tell you this, 1400 years before extremists used this word "Allahu Akbar" before detonating themselves, or cheering in demonstrations, muslims used it in cheering in pleasant situations mostly. Like marriages, feasts, and victory in, for example, sports events. And of course in victory after wars! But believe me, it is said much more often in pleasant situations than in military or bad ones.

And believe me, if i, a muslim man, saw this coming out of a Turkish man's mouth, in such event, i wouldn't be surprised at all! I will never think terrorist or whatever! These are the eird ideas US mainstream media get into the heads of Americans to get ratings, or to just make a "Hollywood" effect in the news.

About what they are "trying to get in your children' mind", well i don't know how to judge this, because i am not American. But i don't think it's hostile, nor "extremist" to say "Allahu Akbar" is a situation like this. On the contrary, it's very suitable.
While all that is great, it's not Andy who's saying it's a problem...

Help us. Help us. Oh the terror.

(I think it's a bit of an overstatement that people will be scarred by that one phrase. Most won't even know the meaning, and the rest will shrug and say "meh"

Oh please. This is ridiculous. The mom with the Baby Pals game was just xenophobic. And now this. Everyone "RANDOM GRUNTS DO NOT TRANSLATE TO SOMETHING OFFENSIVE!" people are reading between lines that aren't even there.

It's even worse than the whole Communism being evil and equating to Totalitarianism and Fascism that you hear right wing extremists saying in the US.
Now unless you explain to me how a system, in which every economical activity is being centraly steered and in which almost every human need has to be satisfied by the goverment, is not totalitarian, you officialy gain my Moron of the Day award.

(Please note that I made it easier for you omitted the fact that Communism killed 10 times as many people as Nazism)
gotta point this out, Nazis were socialists, socialists are communists, communism killed 10 times the people as Nazis, yet the Nazis contribute to those numbers that are ten times the amount that they killed...question mark face :?

hahaha. Unforgotten Realms references.

anyways. um...well,if money is controlled by the government, like in a communism, fascism, socialism,(which i think are all pretty much totalitarianisms) and and what ever the fuck America's government is right now (not capitalism, that's for sure) meaning that if the government doesn't give you money, then you can't survive. so yeah, moron of the day award it is.

But yeah, I agree with 99% of the people on this thread with the issue at hand. Of all the things you can be enraged about, why is this your top priority? It's a freaking VIDEO GAME. Grow up jerkwad.
always remember this,

Falcon Punch = instant abortion.
