I also vote for no remakes. We need developers to make new games, not rehash older ones.C95J said:
Considering 13 was a railroad and 14 is knackered i'd say none till they remember what the franchise is really about and stop trying to force linear storylines into the game or releasing mmo's that are worse than there previous attempt...also maybe give final fantasy a rest for a few years till they have some decent ideas again.
I would love them to remake either VII or Tactics. Seven would just need a reboot since it was already a great game, but Tactics could just use an easier second level! I could never beat it

Yes, as long as they completely remake the entire game. From the ground up. Disc 1 was pretty neat, but after that, the plot goes flying right out the window! Now, I like my Final Fantasy games, I really do. But VIII was a giant, steaming piece of shit.Riddle78 said:

As for the people simply posting to bash the series in general, saying it's stupid and all.. Why the hell are you posting in this thread then!? You obviously don't care for the series, therefore it's none of your damn business what the series does. Continue playing your games and let fans of the series play theirs.
...Sigh.. I'm NOT having this petty argument/debate again. Plain and simple, back off, both sides. I don't care WHAT sub-genre it is that you prefer to play. I'll play whatever I damn well want.
ALL OF THEM....in the style of mass effect so all the worlds interlink into one and everything being named the same in every fucking game can just be put down to evolution and this charade can come to an end.
