You know, when I asked for information on anything non-Portal related coming out of Valve, this isn't what I had in mind.

Yes! Something now to get super excited about and then end up waiting for every Christmas for the next seven years!
Though Honestly I am very excited about what aperies to be a steampunk Sci-Fi (witch we all know is the best thing ever) and by valve no less.

Those look....ugly. Like, I get judging concept art is like judging your prom date while she still has her hair in curlers and shaving cream on her lip, but still, those heads look like someone took normal pictures of people and slapped a magic mirror filter on them in photoshop.
This just looks like the stuff you'd find on the reams and reams of sketchbooks/artdump files of just about any sci-fi/fantasy artist. Most of them look far too whimsical to be anything from the mentioned properties, though I suppose it could be some off-the-wall sci-fi shooter they're working on, with a darkly humorous bent.
If any company were to bring back 3D space sims, Valve would be the one to do it. Just a theory.
