Facts: Traveling the North coast of Skyrim will remind you of Slothsiem. And it is great.
Beware, there is a powerful wizard in a northern barrow thingy. He was a ***** to kill at level 15 and he has a very powerful, valuble staff of firebolt.

Questions, what do I do in Night Caller Temple to stop Dawnstar from having nightmares?
For Dawnstar, you have to accompany someone into night caller temple.

He's a priest of Mara in Dawnstar, don't remember his name but i found him in the inn

Don't assume that all giants are friendly.

Seriously, don't.
are there any giants that are friendly? I try going up to them with my weapons sheathed and they still fight me. Which led to many a death whilst fighting 2 giants and 3 mammoths at the same time
giants are neutral until you go near their mammoths. at least the 2 that i've seen have been.
no, i saw a giant on its own and it tried to kill me.

To run faster, jump higher you need the latest energy drink.

Guess I have a question; Is there a max level in the game? I assume you can't max out every specialisation and get all the perks with one char?
Would be so awesome.
There is a sort of cap at 50, whereas you can still level up but it is much slower. At 70 leveling stops however, but you can max out all skills.

Another fact; a lot of guards in nearly all cities used to be adventurers like you. But they all got an arrow in the knee :(
I like to imagine they all got injured at the same time and travelled to the same village together.

*That village looked on in fear as the army of limping adventurers descended upon them.*

Not just in this game but a general trend I notice in some *bad guys*. They hide at the back of the dungeon and still gob off at you like they have a chance of beating you despite the fact you slaughtered their entire army to get to them.

The majority of the guards i've walked past have a cousin that's out slaying Dragons. Now either they are all related and that is one hell of a massive family that all have the same cousin that is killing Dragons ooooor someone is going to make a fortune selling *sorry your cousin was eaten by a giant flying lizard* cards.

I found a sword that had moon damage, can you enchant sun damage on a sword? Can you have both on a sword. I want to wield Anduril.

A lot of Whiterun guards figure that "If Whiterun's guards can kill a dragon, so can they."

How do you grab things? I want to put bucket on peoples heads.
I asked the same question a few posts up.
And I got a great reply.

It's holding the E button on the pc.
Or the A button on Xbox360 controller.

Figure it's the same for the PS3, whatever button lets you pick up things to your inventory.
Just hold it to pick it up in front of you.

How do you buy a house? I can't figure it out...
Make friends with the Jarl, do a bunch of quests for him, then talk to his advisor, or him, and buy the house.

Then you can purchase things for your house.

And no, you can't store everything in every little box and crate you find, like Oblivion.
Is there at least a giant pit I can fill with gold and loot? I want to dive in like Scrooge McDuck.

Normally you can't drop quest items anywhere
The game is random about this. Once I found out that regular merchants won't buy stolen items, I dropped all of those in the general store in Whiterun. It's still there. Weeks later (ingame). Every I go in there I have to chuckle. There's this ocean of pots and kettles I have to climb over to get to the merchant.

Magic is always either disgustingly overpowered or pathetically underpowered. I've yet to see a single game that balanced magic with the other options.
Yes.

Mostly because Mana is made a commodity. I expect Magic to be more potent than the Blade, everything else is "counter-intuitive". Gandalf should be doing more damage than Aragorn. To balance it out, Gandalf should have a hard time buying Mana/Magicka potions and rue the costliness of killing vermin.

Magic really becomes unfair, when spells are introduced, that make up for the mage's shortcomings. Lockpicking spells to one-up the thief, armor enhancing spells that trump the warrior.

Thieves always get disrespected. So far, just about every RPG had situations, where you couldn't sneak, hide, backstab or deceive your way to success, where you just had to pounce on a mighty foe and you wished, you had invested your XP into heavy armor or firestorm, because that Troll can't be pick-pocketed.

Hint: Swap round your sprint and walk keys. I don't understand why developers keep using buttons that aren't shift for sprinting.

Whenever I've tried that, the hotkeys get cleared whenever I use them.

Anyone know how to get to the lighthouse in Solitude?
You have to leave the city and walk around the coast.

...and finally, just because I want as many people to see this as possible:

There are some amazing randoms dungeons out there. Almost every cave/crevice/fort/hole-in-the-ground has a story. Dont be afraid to explore.
I came across some amazing items and stories by wandering around.

Magic is insanely Overpowered in the dragon slaying area. if you want to have a really easy time of dragon fights, go mage.

When stuck up on a mountain and you can't be bothered to walk all the way down it just jump into a fast flowing river and let the rapids and waterfalls take you down to the bottom. I have done this so many times and so far have had no damage, it also gets you down to the bottom really quick..Plus it's really quite fun

Random fact: Mudcrabs will kill steal.

I was fighting a dragon, but then it got distracted by something on the other side of a mountain. So I had to run around to keep the fight going. Once there, I found a dead mammoth, bear, and sabre tooth that the dragon had apparently just roasted. So I continued to fire away at the dragon with my bow and got it down to a sliver of health. At this moment, a lowly mudcrab walks up to the dragon, snaps at it once, and kills it before I can get my next shot off.

I'm just glad the dragon souls don't end up going to whoever actually makes the killing blow...
The greatest story ever told.

After a fight, if you need to heal up, dual-wield Healing and go into third person view. Proceed to then imagine your character exclaiming "and not a single fuck was given" due to the awesome stance.

The hypothetical max level is around 70, but that isn't set in stone. It also depends on your character build, how many skill points you start off with at level 1. If you get all your skills to level 100 then you can't level up anymore, but that is much harder than it sounds.

Also, after you get the horn for the graybeards you have a conversation option with the only one that will talk yo you, he will now tell you the location of words of power. Every time you find the one he tells you about, you can go back to him and he will tell you about another. I have done this three of four times. Hope it helps.

They will say something like "HOT HOT HOT" and you will be like "Mubcrabs, nasty creatures" and then you skip off to the temple, get married, get bored and murder your loved one.

At least that's how it happened for me and my giant Nord with a bigger sword!.... I felt threatened.... My quest is to get a bigger sword than her....

Hey chicka bump bump!
I almost got busted for reading forums at work when I read that. I needed that laugh though.
