Yeah, judging by the vultures circling, it's probably some sort of Carcass and a bear standing over it. Even if it were a tentacle, it's clearly detached from the bear.

... That said, the only thing more terrifying than a charging grizzly bear is a charging grizzly bear that is half octopus.

anyone with an eye for detail, not to mention positioning, could tell the bear and the body in front of it aren't connected.
While I admit that's a very strange color for bone, it's a tusk of a mammoth, not a tentacle that's been snowed under for the most part. That took me less than five seconds to discern because for a moment I saw the mammoths body as something else (regarding tentacles) but the furred body attached to it was, how to say.. a dead giveaway..?

It's a bear and some sort of monster. Maybe a parasite inside the mammoth.
