Niceee, i have to admit that i saw this coming from a mile away. Warhammer games do not usually have just one enemy race in the game

Right, I didn't mention the 5th chaos god that's opposed to all the others because he was killed by lawyers. Literally, somehow a scenario arose wherein the author who created that "character" retained the rights to use him/it, and he's never granted those rights to Games Workshop. So canonically Malal doesn't exist anymore because GW isn't legally allowed to mention his existence - thus, death by lawyers.Senarrius said:True to some extent
There is a fifth major Chaos God who appeared in earlier editions of Warhammer 40,000
* Malal - The Renegade God - God of Anarchy and Nihilism
He's not mentioned much anymore though.

Marines are definitely not the good guys, in so much that the Imperium is a soulless fascist police state so concerned with protecting its existence that it has made life an unlivable hell for everyone involved.Scorched_Cascade said:The time in the warp is as variable as all other aspects of the warp. For some areas it has been more than ten millenia. They have dated equipment because, short of looting imperial corpses, they have no way of getting better technology. They own whatever they had when they turned to Chaos and whatever they have looted off of chapters that have more recently turned to Chaos/chapters they have fought and beaten.Death_Korps_Kommissar said:Well no actually as far as I know they don't. Because time goes slower in the warp it's only been a century or two since the Horus heresy to them. Hence why they use a lot of dated armor patters and weapons.Scorched_Cascade said:I still don't think one marine would be able to stand up to multiple chaos marines at one time. The chaos marines have 10 millenia of battle experience

For the majority of Chaos Marines life in the warp is one of endless battle. Space Marines compensate for this by spending their downtime training but it's no replacement for actual combat experience.
To quote Eliphas: "Veterans of ten millennia of unholy war wait to grind you beneath the treads of their mighty boots"
I think a lot of writers forget that in 40k humans and especially marines are not the good guys. If anything that would be Elder or Tau.
Eldar Good guys funny, they will do anything to make sure there own race survives even start wars on Armageddon.Scorched_Cascade said:good guys. If anything that would be Elder or Tau.
