The antlers are dodgy, But I've been ill throughout all of today, So I'm a bit off-game.

This is truly holy. You're right the antlers look a tiny bit out of place, purely because they aren't as flat-tone (not a bad thing!) as the the bear itself. I know this seems like I'm digging for compliments but its really well placed on the page. Fix them antlers and you've got yourself a solid drawing.

I've got myself a bit o' work. I brought my tablet to class today so I was working with a model. Its a bit flat, but that's actually because the model herself was a very flat person. I'll be working with this drawing over the next week, tweaking it and making it into a full piece.

Cool stuff man. I know what a couple of these people look like and you nailed it on them so I assume you did a good job characterizing all of them. Xitel looks appropriately violent... like he's about to ram that throwing knife into my eye (which he does with alarming frequency)...

You would think so, huh? I always seem to give off the air of being more intelligent and clever than I actually am, apparently. It's a blessing and a curse, I'm afraid.

Recently, while reading Wired, I came across these really neat portrait things. What they'd done was, they'd taken a picture of each person they were talking about in the article, and made the photo very artistic-looking: edged with brush strokes, all in the same color, etc. I really liked the style, so I set about duplicating it.

That's a cool style. You should see if you can incorporate some of your own drawings into it. Maybe have one of the characters from your D&D setting and a small amount of background with that sort of style. I think it could be really cool.

This is simply a tribute. I'm really big into a fantasy author named Patricia McKillip. This is a piece inspired by here book The Book of Atrix Wolfe, which I got my dad for his birthday (he's just as big a fan as I am), and is one of mine and his favorites of hers.
