A little more harsh reality.
Just because something is nostalgic doesn't make it better than the new thing. Most of the time it's true but sometimes remakes CAN be better than the original, Scarface, The Thing, Reservoir Dogs; two were remakes and one was a complete rip-off.
Go back and watch Transformers, GI Joe or He-Man and realize how awful those truly were for animation. They created the stereotype that all animation is for kids and no one can die.
Also do NOT reply that's where Anime comes in, I love anime but do not blind yourself when it's lazy or fan-service oriented like many shows can be.
While I say that, Don't crush on fictional characters. Fine if it's meant to be ironic or if it's very slight. But if you will go out of your way to say that a cartoon character is sexier than real women then you have failed and you are putting the entire fandom in a bad light.

Images are different. There are a lot of image macros out there that have been created to perfectly sum up thousands of different people's opinions. Why bother to say something in a way made for the exact purpose of being unoriginal? There's nothing wrong with using images to enhance your opinion, but to let them completely embody them is just lazy and discourages discussion.Agayek said:

As someone who is tired of being constantly bullied over online games to the point where I can no longer play them, I will overlook everything else in this video that I don't agree with and say THANK YOU MOVIEBOB for making a stand against internet bullying. There is no way to go against these people and they are getting out of hand. I've been called names that I have never been called before, just trying to have fun in a game. It's getting to the point where it's abusive.

It's interesting that you point out the inability to tell the difference between them. This is actually a problem in society as a whole. For instance, there is this belief of the intelligencia of society that if you are part of a racial minority then you cannot be racist yourself. The idea is ridiculous. Also, as far as bullying is concerned, since that whole thing with that kid from Rutgers killing himself over being "bullied", the newest way to bully someone is to tell them you are going to report them for bullying, even if you haven't done anything wrong.

I agree with you to a point, but I can definitely call myself a nerd and although I have not been bullied consistently, I have been purposefully ostracized by a lot of my peers simply because my interests and way of life was so different from theirs. Maybe it's a big difference between girls and guys, but at least with girls, this is still happening, perhaps in a different way that you are thinking, but being a "nerdy girl" and indulging in my own interests has alienated me from most other women (not that it matters, I usually HATE other women). You said yourself that it is what is said that is judged, not how. Why does the medium in use change that? An image can often convey whole concepts, innuendo and subtext in a far more efficient and stronger manner than words can manage. If the concept you are trying to convey is covered by the image, why does it need a tacked on explanation? Oftentimes that actually reduces the impact of the point being made.GeorgW said:
