Sure, we'll have a duel. Try to hit me from 50 metres away. Go on, give it a go!Richard Groovy Pants said:Go pew pew your lasers while I practice Kung Fu with your head ;o.
No, it's really not, I have 40+ gameplay hours and I've spent most of that time doing quests, you just have to look harder for quests then you did in Oblivion, a game which you couldn't walk two feet without being approached by a mysterious stranger who wants something stolen, someone killed, someone save, etc.Log Dropper M.D. said:Game is pretty fun...
but...why is there barely any quests?
Fallout 2 had way more than this
I understand some of these quests take longer than the old Fallout quests but still..it's really lacking in that department
Groovy Pants is the king of that.Log Dropper M.D. said:I don't know man, why don't you explain to me why you spent that long in the game instead of making a snide post. I may spend that much time in the game, because as I said, I'm enjoying it. I was only making a remark about the lack of available quests.Richard Groovy Pants said:...Log Dropper M.D. said:Game is pretty fun...

I wonder how I managed to spend all that time in the game then.
Edit:
Actually it might be a bit inaccurate since I usually leave my PC and the game running while i sleep (Torrent business) so subtract at least half the hours present there.
I agree, I find Fallout 3's exploration to be incredibly funRichard Groovy Pants said:I'm pretty sure they'll add more trough mods and dlc's.Ragdrazi said:God that's pathetic. We go from about 140, to about 40. My how times have changed.Richard Groovy Pants said:
Although the exploring value in Fallout 3 is way way better than in Oblivion, in Oblivion we only had forts and caves to explore, in Fallout 3 we have every kind of building begging to be explored, UFO's, radio station, little towns, tunnels, cities and my favorite THE WHITE HOUSE! ;o
Just be aware that this game doesn't get fun until you start to invest in your character and the people around him.The_Oracle said:I don't have enough money to buy Fallout 3 right away, as much as I'd like to, so I'll end up renting it about 3 PM later today. I'll be sure to comment on my First Impressions with the game in this thread ASAP.
You can buy slaves in the game? How does that work exactly? Is there a limit to how many you can own? And how is Jack Thompson not ranting nonstop about this?Spartan Bannana said:Just be aware that this game doesn't get fun until you start to invest in your character and the people around him.The_Oracle said:I don't have enough money to buy Fallout 3 right away, as much as I'd like to, so I'll end up renting it about 3 PM later today. Also, I'm building up an army, I have Dogmeat and Charon, and I'm saving up to buy some slaves, should be fun
