I assume for the Nuka-Cola Quantum quest? There isn't a market in Old Olney, however there's
a reddish-brown semi truck E-SE of the Old Olney marker (it's right near one of the Red Rocket filling stations) that has some quantum in the back. It's tough to get 30 but you can do it.

10 luck and some RL luck will help in the nuka-cola challange. Machines will randomly spawn them if you are lucky. You could always save in front of one and then keep reloading until you get one.
Anyway, I also had some technical issues I was wondering about. Several times, when loading a game, enemies who weren't present when I saved would spawn and attack me. I got the impression that they failed to appear in the previous session and that loading reset the cache or something. This was never more bothersome than after finding the church/cemetary place while at a very low level, killing one supermutant and then saving when all clear. Upon loading, I was surrounded by four centaurs and three supermutants and had to run...FAR. They were also very accurate with their assault rifle from a longer distance than mine would even reach. Annoying.
Yes, this is a common problem for me, but I don't think it has anything to do with resetting the cache. I think that most encounters drop in a bunch like that and then they move around, which means if you happen to save EXACTLY where the drop happens, you get hammered. It is worst in areas where critters respawn.
*Walking* into an inert, already triggered (by me), hanging-object trap KILLED my artifact hunter ally (at full health) in the National Archives. Found her dead body there after clearing the entire floor alone wondering where she went. Even more annoying.
The Replicated Man quest could certainly stop you from asking the guy holding the answers about things you haven't discovered. Actually, this goes for a LOT of NPC's, where you can ask about people you haven't met, let alone heard about.
Yeah, that quest annoyed the crap out of me. Why couldn't I still
go on to find the android to satisfy my own curiosity even though I'd already given Zimmer the part and told him to bugger off?
I haven't had the problem with being able to ask about NPC's I haven't encountered, though.
Also, in case you idn't know, the story is very reminiscent of the story Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep, by Philip K. Dick, more commonly known by it's film adaptation called "Blade Runner".

Back from wandering around near Old Oney, could someone take a screenshot of that map screen RGP put up and just circle the area where the truck is in 'Paint' cause I CANNOT find that truck!

Never read it. However, that quest is incredibly similar. Allow me to elaborate:
The protagonist of DADOES is Rick Deckard, a cop who hunts down androids who escaped from off world colonies to earth, where due their ability to integrate with society, they've been marked illegal. While tracking down several recent escapees, he discovers a fake police station, run by one of the androids on his list. He is soon prompted with confusion as to whether if he is a human, or, infact, is an android with false memories. He shortly meets this precinct's own android hunter, who then also suffers a crisis of identity, wondering if he is an android.
Not the best summary ever, but you should read the novel for yourself. It's excellent. The film adaptation, Blade Runner, is one of the best science fiction movies ever made, however it does not capture all of the novel, which it can't quite be blamed for as it wasn't six hours long. Will top this off in a bit.
EDIT: Yeah, I've yet to be able to do the whole of it. I haven't quite yet touched on my good character so I'll explore it with her. Or make a new one so I can do more evil things. That however will have to wait for me to play both the Penny Arcade games now that I've finally downloaded them. I don't want to OD on fallout.
From what little I've seen, it looks to be more of a apocalyptic steampunk total conversion for oblivion than a fallout game. With the CTDs, random memory leak lockups, crashes on loading, sending my video card temp skyrocketing, corrupting or deleting my saves and bizarre graphical glitches including the right 1/4 of my screen flickering with part of an advert for the strategy guide, I haven't made it past megaton yet.
I've been waiting over 10 years for this? I hope I'm just in a coma having nightmares, I really do.

Thanks, I've been trying to find that truck for a while, and you've given me the clearest instructions out of anyone, also I'm pretty close to thirty, I have at least 17 and at most 22, I don't really know the count.

How bizarre. I've had absolutely no stability problems at all. Smooth sailing from the time I booted up the game to the time I left the White House (with an accompanying pile of loot).

To anyone who didn't go there yet I recommend you to explore the Dunwich Building.
Just don't forget to take your hearth pills that place is freaky, seriously. Quite the experience.
If you want to learn more about it

Well Weapons Specialist got En.Weapons 100 Big Guns 90 Explosives 75 and rest is distributed around Science and Medicine. Anyway my question is did I pull myself over with so much Big Guns.
