I'm not going to argue, because you're right it's mostly nostalgia. Our generation was better then your generation deal. I try not to let that mentality skew my opinion, but I have to admit Pokemon have been geting more robotic in design. Pokemon to begin with were going to look like overly realistic monsters until they toned that down to make some of the more toyetic designs seen in Generation one. From that point on, every generation seems to be more and more designed in that way and only designed to serve that purpose. It's probably true that many more kids like the cartoon then the game, it's just more accessible, so we're seeing a lot more Pokemon designed with those kids in mind. It's a different generation of Pokemon designed for a different generation of kids so they do look vastly different from our generation.Monkeybusiness said:
