Being alone outside in the dark, the thoughts of eye injuries or things touching eyes (my own or someone else's), bees, wasps, hornets, yellow jackets, ear wigs, losing my friends, buzzing near my ear, loud noises (boyfriend had to hold me during 4th of July every time a firework went off... x.x), heights (Ever go to a famous basketball stadium and had a seat all the way at the top? Shit's scary) being stuck in small places... I could go on. XD

Warped faces: when a face is severely warped and looks really freaky scares the shit outta me. Its bad when I start thinking about it in the dark and imagine something behind me, I don't want to look because I'd have a heart attack if I ever saw something like that.
Like the Gatherers in Amnesia?

Those things are fucked up looking.

Death. Not the sexiest fear I know, but that's pretty much it. Luckily, near death experiences aren't that common for me, but sometimes when I can't stop my thoughts from wandering into the deep and I am reminded of the supreme certainty that one day it will come, and there is nothing I can do about it.
Sure there is, found a secret society dedicated to discovering immortality! That's how all the cool kids do it!

Spiders. I Fucking hate spiders.
This, but also on games when a mob suddenly appears behind you so that when the camera turns back, all you see is a monster or a person with a gun trying to kill you.

Max Payne 1 is the best example of when this happens. This is the only game that can actually make me scream properly >.>

Medium sized spiders, as an Australian I feel these are the sensible ones to be scared of. The small ones are fairly harmless and the big ones are easy to keep track of but the medium sized ones like Sydney Funnel Webs are both excellent at hiding and freaking lethal.

Also heights if I don't have something my mind is convinced is solid to hang on to, yet I like rock climbing and abseiling...

EDIT: Ooh, just thought of another thing. I really like wakeboarding but I'm terrified of climbing back into the boat afterwards because the ladder is right next to the outboard engine and I'm afraid of getting hit by the prop even when I know it isn't spinning.

Also heights here. It doesn't even have to that high. I just can't take being up in the heights.
Actually, I am not really afraid of death as such, I am more afraid of having regrets when I am about to die.

Right now? The fact that a very close friend of mine, and my boyfriend's elder boyfriend are both serving in Afghanistan. Cue momentary panic whenever the subject comes up on the news... Roll on April, that's all I'm saying!!

I also occasionally get severe vertigo, but I'm working on overcoming that, since it affects my job.

The thing that scares the living hell out of me is darkness. I can't stand to be alone in the dark and hear something moving. Like this one time a few days ago. I was going to drive to work and the car was parked inside our carport, it was 4 a.m. so I couldn't see what was inside the carport. I was going to use the flashlight on my cellphone, when I heard a noise coming from the carport. I automatically jumped a few feets back. I was scared to my bones.

Yes, those things were pretty messed up. But it's scarier with things that have human features, but are just wrong.

Needles. I have a fear of them. They're probably the only thing really. Lots of stuff makes me uncomfortable though...

Like clowns. Who the hell thought those were funny?!

Korsakoff's psychosis.

Why? You remember nothing, you will never form new memories ever again, and your brain creates memories that never happened, leaving you extremely confused and disorientated for the REST OF YOUR LIFE, existing in lucid intervals which you will not remember in the next lucid interval. Every moment of every day you will be in a place you do not remember, you will recognize people you've never met before from things that never happened, you won't be able to recall anything that happened more than ten minutes ago, and that's how you'll live your entire life from then on.
Look on the bright side, you can watch the Shawshank redemption and the Lord of the Rings trilogy over and over again! Oh right ten minutes ago... hmmm... maybe Robot Chicken or Family Guy or something else that doesn't require a long attention span?

I've always felt less than comfortable using elevators. It's not that I'm claustrophobic, but rather the fact that plunging at top speed down through a lift shaft due to a technical difficulty is just a horrible thought for me. I know that something like that happening is very unlikely due to the high standards of safety nowadays, but hey, it's an irrational fear. I always take the stairs when I have the oppurtunity.

Also, just imagine being at the bottom of the ocean, surronded on all sides in pitch blackness. I think that would be, for me, the worst possible situation I could ever imagine.

Exception to the rule.
