....maybe. then again I consider "The Exorcist" to be soft-core porn.

OT: Video of her saying she's doing this with a straight face or it didn't happen.

I would so read that over Modelland any day, incidentally, I've been trying to write my own novel for well over 11 years now and I hope to actually finish it soon

If she really said she fancies herself as the next Tolkien, she's gonna have to try a bit harder than "Modelland."

This is why celebs shouldn't be allowed to do thing sometimes... Tyra banks needs to stop branching out into territories unknown to her and accept that she just isn't as popular as she used to be.

Edit:

and LMAO... I turned around and said to my gf, "Tyra Banks is writing a book." She immediately Pfft's... Epic

Lemme guess, she's going to team up with Stripperella, Zero Suit Samus and possibly even Tyra Banks herself to save the world? That is of course if Banks isn't going to be the model for the main character, which I've got a nagging feeling will be the case.

No offense to Ms Banks, but this is probably not going to end well. But hey, if the book itself gets made, we'll all have one more reason to declare Humanity's future fucked, right?

Alright, I know this is a little late but my mind needed some time to recover.
Here's my plan: Should this novel ever be published, a select group of like minded individuals and myself will loot all the local books stores. We will steal every copy of this unholy waste of perfectly good trees and burn them in a nearby parking lot. If the Twilight series is still being sold we'll burn them too. We could possibly replace all the stolen copies of Modelland (pronounced Model-Land) with copies of HP Lovecraft, Isaac Asimov, JRR Tolkien and other authors. That way when the hordes of sheeple arrive to purchase the now ash books they will be surrounded by works of liturature worthy of their praise. Maybe, just maybe, the waves of genius coming from these books can peirce the thick skulled and raise thier IQ a few points. Either that or it'll kill them. Which ever way is good for me.

Also, you know how they say if you an infinite number of monkies with typewriters, eventually one who write the complete works of Shakespear? With her I think it would take about seven and they'll have it done by lunchtime.

Way to over react Internet.

All that will come of this is a mediocre book that'll vanish after a few months.

And who knows, a few girls who read it might really enjoy it, they wan't to read more and get recommended some actual fantasy books. Bam, a new reader. Every group of Metal fans, a few of them started out listening to Slipknot, every group of gamers a few of them started out playing kiddie games.

Sure, women have done horrible things, but let's not forget the atrocities men are guilty of.

I'm looking at you Dan "fact-checking is for wuzzes" Brown. I am also looking at you Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins.

All girls want to be super thin models that require a life style of anorexia and extreme dieting?

... The fashion industry really needs to ask a man what they prefer in women. Just not a rich man... they tend to be stupid in their desires.

Don't forget that Twilight is immensly popular, despite it's .. well.. everything, and brought vampires and werewolves back into the mental radar of many young girls. However, I don't think there is any greater interest in other vampire, werewolf or other monster fiction, let alone the traditional myths.(apparently, Universal Pictures received a letter, accusing their recent remake of The Wolfman of ripping off Twilight. I sincerely hope this is an isolated case.)

The problem is that Modelland could be the high fantasy version of Twilight: completely overshadowing everything else due to huge popularity amongst tween girls and damaging the genre's credebility for years to come.

Also: a magical world of supermodels is a really stupid idea. How does a world like that function?

How is that pronounced again?
Oh yeah "Pile...of....Suck"

The only way Tyyyyyyra belongs in the same sentence with JK Rowling and Tolkien, Tolkien!, is for comic relief.

Tolkien only hung out with C.S.Lewis (Narnia Series) and Frank Herbert (Dune) critiquing each others work while perfecting their craft for years before coming out with masterpieces.

While Tyra has prepared by wearing heavy makeup and hair products while partially nude.

I see no reason to doubt she is their equal.

How is that pronounced? Egomaniacal.
