Either this is a clue....or the IMPS just drew a very crude picture of themselves.You would probably guess the latter.But if reading has taught you anything its that you should try any and all options.That and to never give up.

While the IMPS in the last ROOM weren't of any help,you might have better luck with this group.And perhaps a BRIBE might help as well.But what would work....hmm...you still have that PLATE OF PANCAKES from earlier...hmm

You calmly walk over to the IMPS and ask them if they know anything about the DOOR in this ROOM.And if they are willing to help you,you will give them a treat.You take out the PLATE OF PANCAKES from your BACKPACK MODUS and,after scribbling the CODE for the PANCAKES into your JOURNAL because you never know when it could be useful again,and show it to them.This will probably blow up in your face..but hey they are just IMPS.

Page 32. The Time Shenanigans begin.

Jack leaves the room, and DD opens your cell. It looks like he means to follow you, to make sure you don't try anything funny.

You have to defeat these IMPS in order to get through that DOOR?But they have done nothing to you.
And what kind of Hero,no less a Knight,attacks something that doesn't attack back?This whole thing just leaves a very bad taste in your mouth.

As you just stand there,thoughts race through your head.Do you do it?Do you not do it?They are IMPS,servants of Derse,the agents of EVIL.But they have not nothing to do and infact might not even do anything evil.

A few moments later,the IMPS are done with the PANCAKES and look unsure at you,probably because they don't know what you will do.

Only two options before you really.Defeat these IMPS or leave and try another way.But there is no guarantee that your luck will be any better.

And yet...it is still a better option.

You leave the ROOM and head back to the previous corridor.

Killing is a last resort for you.And that is how it will stand.

It seems that these markings are talking about... a giant frog?

...Crafted from genes of a thousand lesser specimens, the Genesis Frog is said to be the ultimate source of power in the entire Medium, if not in all of reality. My research would benefit greatly if I could create one, but it seems I lack the means to do so. Creating something of that scale would require more Grist then even I hold.

Although it is Prospit and the Consorts that seem to worship the Genesis Frog, it is possible that Derse might have some knowledge of it as well. Vows notwithstanding, perhaps I should find a way to contact the Outer Rim...

..What was that?It sounded like something was downstairs.And it sounded like...lasers?Hmm either you are going crazy...or Chas is here in this CASTLE with you...You hope its the former...you really do...

You sigh,then give the puzzle before you some thought.

You decide to move the four BLOCKS onto the STRANGE TILES in the corners then stand on the TILE in the middle so that all of the tiles are covered.

You wait to see what that does.

You tell him that if he's so insecure about you doing your job quickly, then he should follow you around until you preform the job.

Now if you goof off or do anything you don't tell him your going to do to prepare your plan, he kills you right then and there.

And if you run off with out him, then he will have his boss to put a contract on you, this time to be killed on sight by anyone who happens to be on the streets or any other agents.

You open the chest,slowly,and very carefully retrieve whats inside and hope it doesn't explode.

Aw, shit. PLOT SHIT. This looks pretty important, you make a mental note to yourself to let somebody know how important all of this stuff is. You see that the RUINS have a sort of HIGH POINT, and climb up to the top to see if you can get a better view of the surrounding area to try and find something else useful.

Wait, that's stupid. And I'm lazy. A rope ladder falls down from the ceiling. It was apparently built into the staircase just in case someone decided to destroy said staircase.
