What did you waste your Masterball on?

My first one was used on a Zapdos in my original Fire Red file.
Because of that, I had an epic 2 hour battle with Venasuar, Nidoking, Zapdos, and Articuno against Mewtwo trying to catch him.

Fortunately, I was always pretty sensible and saved it for one of the legendary birds or Mewtwo.
I think the very first pokemon I caught with a Master Ball was Articuno or Zapdos. I vaguely recall reading the description of it being a sure-fire catch so I guessed it was rare.

No waste here. Got a masterball and dup'ed it with missingno. So i had (odd number,strange sign, thing that looks like a tree) number of materballs to catch anything and everything.
Never used it in my pokemon blue. I am not going to waste a precious ball like that on a pokemon, are you kidding me?
On my Emerald version, I "wasted" it on Rayquaza. That Level 70 son-of-a-***** kept using Extremespeed, and i was getting pissed off. Now on my FireRed version, I still have it and I'm keeping for something else. I was able to catch Mewtwo with a standard Pokeball on the first throw, though (after knocking it down to one HP with False Swipe, paralyzing it, putting it to sleep, THEN wasting dozens of Greatballs and Ultraballs on it). -___-
Edit: After reading alot of the earlier comments about catching the roaming Pokemon, I have this to say: catching Latias with an Ultraball was probably my single most fulfilling Pokemon experience. I learned that if you get a hit in before it runs, the damage stays whenever you encounter it again; and that you can prevent it from running and give it a status effect by leading with a Pokemon that has an ability to prevent fleeing. An example would be a Wynaut/Wobbuffet with the "Shadow Tag" ability.

Was i the only one who enjoyed hunting down entei raikou and suicune? they were some of the best parts of gold for me

I was told of missingnoe ( no idea if that is spelled right) long before I ever even got the game. as such I never had to worry about the 1 masterball problem.... of course I played gold for the first time just recently ( nostalgia got me) and caught HoHo with an ultra and havn't bothered to go after Lugia.
For Blue I used it on Mewtwo
For Gold I saved it to use on Lugia
For Emerald I used it on Rayquaza
For Diamond I used it on Giratina
For White, I still have it, I don't know why.

I used it on a Snorlax in Blue. Then I used it on Articuno in LeafGreen, and on Groudon in Ruby.
Not too bad, really. But SNORLAX? My ten-year-old self thought it was a good idea, the fucker kept falling asleep and restoring his energy AND WOULDN'T STAY IN MY POKEBALLS
