What did you waste your Masterball on?

Saved mine for Mewtwo for Blue.
Used it on Lugia (which I almost spelled as Luigi there) for Gold but when my save corrupted and I started a new game, I found out you could clone your Pokemon with the Change Box cheat and got a few to catch all the difficult ones. However, it broke again and I couldn't keep a save at all so it was not to be...

Articuno back on Red. I was going to save it for Mewtwo, but after I found out it was going to be extremely difficult (especially without sleep, bloody hell!) I couldn't be bothered waiting anymore. Got lost in a dark cave and I thought I would never find him again, also he just looked so awesome, I couldn't help myself.

A Ditto. My brother insisted. Neither of us knew which pokemon was which, but apparently Ditto was rare and amazing. I don't remember having any trouble catching the legendary birds though, and Mewtwo was easy, even though I was using a Venomoth against him. I must have been rampantly overlevelled and very lucky with my ball-tossing.

In Ruby and Sapphire: Groudon and that blue thing I don't remember the name of. Should have used them on Latias and Latios. Those bitches were impossible to catch.

I used mine in ruby on Groudon without realizing there was one of those bastard roaming pokemon to catch. Speaking of which you can count using it on one of the three bastard dogs in silver because you'd have to be sherlock fucking holmes to catch all three of those.

sack having ash or who ever it was in the ruby one, get sherlock holmes in as a pokemon trainer!

In Sapphire, I used it on Kyogre, without knowing that it would be better to use on Latias. After that I have always spared the master ball for a roaming pokemon. And since I had learned my lesson, I told my little brother to not do the same mistake... which he did. Fourtunately, he learned me a method to catch them without a Master ball. It just included 4 wobuffets, 198 timerballs and lots of spare time.

A Tentacule. I didn't know it was anything special so I just used it. Remember, I was around 8 years old and couldn't really read english. So yeah. Wasted. Catching Mewtwo with normal pokeballs was a grind.

I never wasted my master ball, I just used the clone trick to make 255 of them.

And after the second generation, I decided catching pokemon with masterballs is just too cheap. Anything other than a retro pokeball and GTFO.

My first was used on Sabrina's Alakazam in yellow i was so devastated when it didn't work and didn't bother to reset

I wasted it on Groudon in ruby, then had to go and catch fucking rayquaza with damn ultra ball, and god knows how im gonna catch latios, elusive bastard.

I got lucky. I did the same thing, except Rayquaza lasted for just seven ultras, and I had brought over a Latios from my Leaf Green, so one Repeat Ball and Latios fell before me.

Now I have a team of two Rayquazas, two Latias and two Latios. I call it my legendary dragon team, and it rips shit apart.

for some reason i am really lucky when it comes to legendary pokemon most of time. i caught mewtwo with a repeat ball, the three flying legendarys with pokeballs, and still had/have my masterball. i always use the masterball on one of the pokemon that run the second the battle starts and are too fast to put to sleep before that.

I wasted my first on something like a sandshrew because it was the only ball I had left and didn't know any better at the time...

In Gold and Silver I cloned my masterball about 20 times and used them on pretty much anything. The last one I used on a Ponyta in victory road...

In any other Pokémon game I've played I've just used the masterball on the main legendary because I can never be bothered with saving before hand and trying over and over again to weaken it without killing it.

Well, over the games i've played, i've usually done the smart thing and saved my master ball for at least a legendary, usually the plot legendary in the later games. Having said that, when I was much much younger and playing pokemon blue, I ended up using a masterball on a Hypno in the Fuchsia city gym.

Yeah, i've looked back on that a lot and wondered what I was thinking. I also used it on the plot legendary in pokemon white, before I heard its easier to catch than most legendaries. Good job Kyurem was also easy to catch, really.
