After 3 years of having a home office, my wife is finally having me hang pictures but wants to avoid wall damage. So far, one pic required an anchor and screw drilled into the wall. Another did not. Used these:

So, what are those, giant stickers to attach things to?
1/2 sticks to the wall, 1/2 the frame. Velcro on top of each strip so you press the frame to the wall, lining up the strips so they Velcro together. I had to warn the missus she was about to hear a bunch of crinkling and snapping: that is the Velcro setting. She freaked a little anyway.

So far so good.

I used those to put up a whiteboard and a canvas frame. They've held up for over a year without complaints.

For a moment I thought these were massive protection gloves to prevent damage on your fingers.

Doesn't really count as a purchase but an acquisition. My daughter gave me a $50 gift card to Playstation.

The boy gave me this:

Happy Father's Day.

Yeah, japanese whiskies are said to be great. Never tried them, because I'm too attached to the scottish folklore of whisky (drinking old swamps, ghosts, cobwebs and castle dust - yes I like my whiskies peated, why ?).

Bought this Moto G52 phone a week back so I could hand down my Moto G8 Power to my mom who had my previous Moto phone that was $80, 5 years old, and a rather aged battery. The G8 Power is still running strong at 3 years old and the battery is still great only needing to be charged twice a week. I buy cheap phones because they literally do everything and more than I need. So far a really good phone, love the AMOLED screen over the LCD of the G8 Power and the same 5000 mAh battery capacity while feeling noticeably slimmer as well. Not loving Android 12 vs Android 11 on the G8 as Android 12 doesn't seem to like keeping apps running in the background (though I have Tasker to fix that situation well enough) and the G52 will be getting Android 13 somewhat soon it seems and hopefully 13 is more like 11. I have bought Motorola phones because you get basically stock Android with nice little add-ons that can be turned off if you want and you really can't beat the features at the price points.

I bought this a long time ago and found it rummaging after a big move recently. I've always wondered how authentic it was, even though I bought it at the museum itself. You'd think they would've ran out of wall bits by 2005, let alone now if they still sell these. I guess 155 km long and 4 meters tall is a lot of souvenirs.20230626_220816.jpg

I wonder how many other walls' pieces will be sold in 30 years.

Don't even need walls, just some preformed concrete, a couple cans of spray paint and a sledgehammer.
No, I meant - how many other totalitarian walls, separating countries, will have to be torn down, and will become a collection of fragmented relics.
