Well, that track is from one of their more famously "unpopular" albums since it all but eschews the dance rhythms, but it introduced me to Ambient music. "Plateau" is my go-to track when I put on my headphones, and want to chill out or take an aimless walk.

I went through a spell dating a bartender who smoked weed, and despite my not liking it before, I indulged with her, and one night we listened to that track about 1,000 times, "blowing each other's minds" with minute oberservations. I liked the track before and after, but that night was special. No one had ever connected with me through music like that. Yes, it was artificial, but it was exciting and pure for what it was.
Well sometimes it does help to have experienced music on a particular drug to "get" it. Doesn't mean you need to keep doing that drug to like the music but it can kind of explain what it's going for.

Technically bought this months ago, but I had to wait for its release to be shipped, but here it is.

This book. Went with the gf to the Tate modern near us. While I'm not particularly arty, I do like really old stuff, so as this was on sale I picked it up.

Did you know that humanity has been producing furry porn for 30,000 years? I didn't, but I do now.

I confess that I did misread it, idiocracy-like.

Ok, now I'm going to have to ask what you misread and probably look a bit stupid for not being able to work out, I've never seen idiocracy.
Ah. Oh. It's... it's not very clever.

I decided to indulge myself and pick up a Meta Quest 2; at $300, it's pretty much the cheapest VR setup that's not made of cardboard. I'm not sure how I'm reacting to it yet- I've only played one game with fast movement, and while it didn't make me nauseous, it played merry hell with my balance- but I do have to say that Scanner Sombre hits entirely different in full VR.
Nice!!!
EDIT: I'm guessing you're already using it with your PC? Scanner Sombre is in Steam but I don't see it in the Oculus store.

ITMT: I got Quake for PS4 for only $4. And finally, got Cyberpunk 77 for PC for $30 on Steam sale. With my backlog of shame, I'm promising myself to stop buying games. After Star Field (no VR confirmed) and or Star Citizen and or No Man's Sky that I want to play with my Oculus.

Yep. I'm running SteamVR through Air Link. Works perfectly fine for me.
Just got the HumbleBundle on Space. You can pay $30 for 8 items or $15 for 6. I got the 6. It comes with Trover Saves the Universe for Steam VR which costs $30 on Steam by itself.

EDIT: No Man's Sky on Steam 1/2 off. I think in a month it will go for far less as Star Field and Star Citizen come out in about a month. Maybe I'd get it for $20 rather than $30. Not worth waiting, can't wait to try it in VR.

Cause I ended up loving the other one I got, so I had to have the original R-type ship.
Always liked that one better because, even if the wings are less fun, at least the nose looked like a cockpit. I'm not sure what they were going for with the other.

Whatever, just wash your hands.

The other one is from R-type 3 and its a bit longer with neater engines and bigger looking guns. Its also like $50 cheaper.
