Diablo 2. Those cut-scenes are scary man. The game would be a lot more horrific if the dismembered bodies were clearer and looked more like bodies rather then blobs of brownish wood.

Goldeneye 64...I think. I dunno if it was a M in the USA, it was a 15 here as I recall. I played it when I was like 4.

I think it was Perfect Dark or Resident Evil. Well I liked Perfect Dark better so lets go with that.

Halo, I believe. I have no idea what age I was, though. The first one I bought was Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, though (bought here meaning, gave money to brother, brother buys it for me.)

Since the question is what the first M game was (not M Rated game), it was Doom or maybe Mortal Kombat, I'm not sure.

I played Mortal Kombat 2+ when i was 8, Doom and Wolfenstein 3d A little bit later, and Duke Nukem.. I actually played Duke Nukem on one of those early Virtual Reality Helmets, whole new dimension to violence, wonder why that didnt catch on... I was 11 or 12 i think

Looking back, i really never thought of any of those games to be particularly inapropriate for me, the vilence hasnt stirred up emotions at all. Although with todays graphics effects things might be different if i was a kid again? Hmm

DOW:Dark Crusade. For the people living in Austrailia or NZ. This thread is kind of tricky to answer. I answered this with the ESRB rating by the way.
