I'm kind of holding a butterfly knife at the moment.

It's on my table all the time, not because I'm paranoid or anything, but it's just something to play with during loading screens or while chating.

I have Charizard. And a few cords that I could use to strangle people. And I guess if I chucked my heater in a bathtub, it would be pretty deadly.

Several pint glasses (smash and stab, stab stab, stab stab), several wires (electrocution and strangulation), four pillows and three cushions (suffocation), a duvet and sheets (strangulation and suffocation, a laptop printer PS3 controller (blunt force trauma) and me. (a combination of the above).

Hm. I have two wakizashi and one Katana. I'd probably use a Wakizashi- I'm inside, and swinging a katana would be ridiculous.

Got a 4-inch blade folding knife which I have clipped to my pocket at all times. The lower half of the blade has some really pretty scalloped serrations that I have learned are sharper than you would expect.

I also have some glass pickle jars, they'd probably do the trick as an improvised missile.

A Beretta double barrel is one door away. But, within reach? Blunt pocket knife, lava lamp and cymbals. I should be alright.

Probably the model Scarborough Fair I got with (standard edition) Bayonetta. That thing is kinda heavy.

There was a similar thread last week and I came to the conclusion I was hosed because all I had in reach was a desk lamp and some TRIA markers.

Now though, I have more options. Aside from 4 coffee mugs (2 of which I really don't want to break), a bottle of Paco Robanne (Pour Homme) and half a bag of toffee popcorn, I now have my airsoft pistol in my desk drawer.

It may sound silly but I tend to keep it loaded and gassed because not long ago my neighbours house got hit by burglars (they bailed out when the alarm went off) and last week something set my car alarm off in the wee small hours (probably a cat but hey...) so I got a little paranoid. A 6mm BB might not have the greatest penetration but, thanks to a few secret (but legal) tweaks, my M92 fires harder than most and bloody hurts when you're shot with it! That said I'd probably get into serious trouble if I so much as threatened someone with it, intruder or not. The laws in this country are so crap that I would wind up in the dock if I were to point a "replica firearm" at an intruder in my own home. Feh...

However all is not lost because I also have the bottle of refill gas handy and some matches (for someone who doesn't smoke, I seem to have an alarming amount of matches and two lighters).

Or if all else fails, I have a rather heavy jar full of change on my desk. It's a tall cylinder so would make an easy to wield club.
