The necrons, probably. Because ridding the universe of life has never been so fun.

Oh, and I think you mean retarded.

the Forces of Chaos are my favourite, specifically Nurgle. I love the way he is considered as a paternal figure, and his demons are playful and cheerful but don't realise the bad they're doing to his..."toys".plus zombies own....

if I were to choose the imperium of man, I'd go with the Vostroyan army(I love the Russian/zarish look they have) or the Cadian army(the look extremely proffesional and cool).not to fond of the Space Marines, though except maybe the Dark angels.

and as for a Xeno race..I'd choose the dark Eldar( sadistic bastards, I love 'em) or the Tau(because they resemble a bit to utopian socialism, in the old codex at least)

Maybe space marines, dark angels. I love their background, colourscheme, and of course they are after all my army choice for tabletop game. On the other hand, I might side myself with chaos, thousand sons.... or perhaps, dark eldar? Not sure just yet...

The Tau Empire. Just gotta love the juxtaposition of the super-advanced battlesuits contrasted to the barbaric mannerisms of the Kroot. Also, I love the long range Tau offers.

FOR THE GREATER GOOD!

Tau ftw. Ironically the most humane of all species, anyone can join them in serving the Greater Good, but they'll mess you up if you stand in their way.

Also, no connection to the Warp, so no Tau dudes ripping apart into Chaos portals.

Battlesuits are pure win. Giant armored suits with the most advanced weaponry in the universe. Hell yeah.

I enjoy Eldar and Tyranids. Though I haven't been anywhere near the stuff since I was a wee sprat. I took an interest in the Dawn of War series, but I found it too fast to enjoy. I like my strategies to be slow paced and leisurely. How is Dawn of War II?

Back when I started the tabletop game it was space wolves all the way, loved thier look and the fact that they opperated almost indipendantly from the rest of the imperium, functioning as packs in a very tribal way, just loved thier backstory.

Ever since DoW2 tho I've been drawn to the tyranids mainly because the idea of them fascinates me, consuming worlds for some unknown purpose, adding the dna and resources to thier own constantly evolving, they might not be as in depth history or personality wise as the rest of the 40k universe but like I said, just fascinating to me. not to mention 40 foot aliens with blade sharp claws kick ass :p
And then of course there are the two theories, each worse than the last:

Theory 1- The three Hive Fleets that wrecked everyone's shit so far and have only been beaten back at great cost are just little tiny tendrils of a much-greater force to follow and nomnom everyone, or;

Theory 2- The sudden emergence of the Tyranids en masse means that, like wild animals in a forest fire, they are actually running away from something...

Take your pick. We're all fucked either way.
That's obvious there running away from the grots :p
but seriously the race you need to be concerned about is the necrons they are next to impossible to destroy they have there gods walking among them not to mention there real army and most powerful gods are still in hibernation.Tyranids should fear them most of all especially after what happened over that tau world a hive fleet was about to consume.
